  1. If you do find a way to remove them without any damage, would be much abliged if you can pass it on. I would think that they are bolted to the inside of roof before the cloth goes on, don't know for sure though. Good luck with it. ← No probs...if I find out :) ← Hello Billy It is easy to remove the roof rails. Honest. The front and rear covers are retained by plastic plugs. To remove the front ones, carefully slot a screwdriver under the front of the sloping cover and prise upwards. Then pull the cover forward which will then expose 2 x 13mm bolts. The rear removal is the same. Remember to put a cloth or something under the screwdriver so you do not damage the bodywork. When the rails have been removed, put the bolts back in and apply sealant. You will have to by a new continuous rubber trim to cover where the rails fixing points. Regards Andy
  2. Hello Rodders Thanks for that info. I deal directly with VDO, Blaupunkt and others and none of them have the information. It has been suggested that it is violet/white behind the upper display section of the centre console - but it not. I would expect that there is a wire / blank hole to the radio plug as the radio volume adjusted according to speed and noise. The vehicle is not multi-plex wiring or that might may have been easier. Lexus have sent wiring diagrams but they are not very clear as to where the wires are located in the vehicle. Again thanks for replying. I will get the information eventually and will post it on the notice board for others. Regards Andy

  6. Does anyone know where to pick up a speed pulse on a 2005 model Rx300? This is necessary for an after market fit satellite navigation system. Thanks.
