Got a couple of days booked for next year already. Both airfield days so not too friendly on tyres - of which it wears out all four at the same rate
Be good to come along to the ring with you guys though - details?
As fun as the evo is, it is still nice to get in the IS200 every day to go to work and chomp up the motorway miles. The Evo is ridiculously loud with no interior, carpets, sound deadening etc
Hell of a weekend toy though :winky:
The finger is good thanks, got a scar to remind me never to do it again though !!
Glad you're getting on well with the charger.
Any meets coming up? Be great to catch up with some of you guys :D
Hey guys - been a while since I visited. The IS200 is still looking as it was - just superchargerless! LOL
To make up for it here's a couple of pics of the current toy...
Just follow the instructions and you can't go wrong.
I am fortunate enough to have a workshop but I know people who've done them on their drives and even in a field ;)
If you have any problems there are plenty of us on here who will be able to help you out :)
Some excellent work there - welding is spot on and the attention to detail generally is very good.
Stop making brumm brumm noises and come in for your dinner
Friend of mine uses 'Runways' they are reasonably cheap (he is sponsored anyway) so they make a hell of a lot of smoke - which is good. Gets a bit of stretch over them too so they are a lot stiffer than a 'normal' application.
Sky Insurance are good - they specialise in modified Jap vehicles.
IS200 with everything declared; skirts, lips, charger, zorst, lowered etc etc. £650 for the year (including business use) with the Mrs on there too.
I miss chesvegas - was a quality night out when I used to pop up there from nottingham :D
Keep trying to arrange something with Aido but he's a bit of a Lord and keeps avoiding me
I recommend Indian Blues for a curry though :winky:
It was so hot during the reign of the Romans that they grw grapes in Scotland - that never gets mentioned though :winky:
It's just a cycle - the government are scare-mongering (again)
Mines going in on Tuesday for the 60k - local garage - £225 all in. Lexus wanted £650 for the privelige. A service history is a service history and at the end of the day I know all of the guys at the local garage and trust them to do a good job - They're all mechanics at the end of the day so my money stays local now.
Sometimes in the lower rev range in a higher gear the s/c belt seems to slip. Anyone else encountered this? I know Aido's used to slip frequently when he had it fitted and spray glue used to help him. I have got another belt in the garage I might sling it on and see what happens. Anyone else experienced it?
PS - hello everyone - been a while !!
Looking good mate :winky:
When I had it on mine I thought about getting some piping to run from the IS300 vent and running it into a sealed unit. Should make a difference.
