  1. I've found bubbling on the spokes of the wheels on my 2005 GS300SE - it looks like corrosion under the top finish. Front wheels at first and then the back too. I'm pleased to say the dealer has replaced them all under warranty (well done Lexus), but I'm curious to know if anyone else has had this problem too.
  2. The dealers (Park Lane) contracted it out to their regular windscreen company (Fosters, I think). So it was 'Lexus approved' - not just your average Auto Windscreens or whatever..
  3. Since my new GS300 came back from having a new windscreen fitted (crack from a stone hit) the 'Auto' setting on the wipers hasn't worked properly. The wipers will run while the screen is dry, or fail to run when it rains - then start up and go on for too long or too fast. The sensitivity setting on the stalk control doesn't seem to make any difference. It all worked fine before. I assume something has gone wrong with the sensor since the new screen was fitted. Before I go through the hassle of getting it back to the dealer to sort out, any ideas on checks I could try? It looks as though part of the sensor behind the rear view mirror might be removable (check for dirt, contacts, perhaps) but I don't want to risk making it worse (or screwing the guarantee!) Jonathan
  4. Yes, that's exactly where my crack was. Just got the car back with replacement screen.
  5. Had the same thing happen a week ago, about nine weeks from new. Very small stone chip caused a single crack about 15cm long. Lexus Park Lane reckon they can fix it straight away using their regular windscreen people (Fosters, I think).
