I cant beleive that just after a little kerb scrape my wheels look pish... how about if you refurb them then make sure you add the refurb price it onto the price of the car when you sell it and make it a selling point -
dont tell them then... any mods that dont make it go faster or more desirable should not effect the insurance. all my mods are subtle ones that wont make anyone look at my car differently. not sure if thats a good thing though

some vectras are actually quick, my mates 2.6 is rated at around 190bhp. you just need to relax in the knowlege that your in a luxury car not an average car

i looked on the net and there are 2 types of xenon bulbs. i feel you may have gotten the wrong ones. is200's require a bulb that has a discharge i think its callled so that they dont heat up too much and explode. I would read up on what type you bought..

just thinking that if i connected the wires from the woofer part of the rear speakers, that would mean i would lose treble and bass from the rear .. wouldnt this sound awful just had a look at the wiring for the rears, i cant really tell which wires for the sub part, black or red is the choice??

watch out for stone chips, the blue is a pain in the a##e it shows up a bit too much for my liking on the front

right so let me get this straight, i basically wire up my amp to the battery as you would do, run the cable to the boot where the amp is. then i use this device to get the output from the rear speakers and run this into the amp as well. then hey presto. wont i then be running mid and treble through the subs?????? this will make them sound distorted...

Does anyopne have any subs fitted to their is200 with OEM head unit?? i have a couple spare and an amp from my mr2 and the subs would fit snug in my boot, i just want to know in advance if they can be hooked up to the original 6 stacker unit mainly as I dont want to replace it with an aftermarket unit. if i cant i may have 2x10" hollywood subs and a 600w hollywood amp for sale lol thanks in advance

ditto, i will try the fogs first as im no diy expert and dont want to wreck my heads. where are you getting your supercharger from? ive just seen on ebay that prolex do it for 1800 fitted

just had the tein s types fitted, immediate results, looks alot better with the wheels tucked up in the arches, will post pics as soon as the weather clears up. nearly wasted my money and wrote the car off but fortunately manage to hold the car from going into a field just..... think i have learnt my lesson now and will take back roads a little slower.

some clear fogs at the back and tinted rear lenses fron and back would look superb, love the is200 in black, i would have got black if i could have found one

try taking them apart and re-sealing them. mine are starting to mould a little around the edges. may be an excuse to paint them
