is there a way to manualy keep them on full time then or adjust the thermostat :duh:

this is my first rwd and although i have only had the car 5 months i will never go back to fwd as its just to much fun drifting round corners and roundabouts sideways with the look other drivers give u when they see a lexus coming round the roundabouts sideways with the tyres smokeing HAS TO BE RWD

when i go to bring in the wingmirrors the left one sticks sometimes and wont come in or out then sometimes the right one thinks its funny and does this as well then when u force it by hand u can hear it clicking any ideas whats happening

mines not workin either think theres water in the lights? seems like a hard enought job to change them by the sounds of it so i might just stick in goldfish and they can live happy ever after

this happened me also the wee clip for the mat has came off and this happens a lot now especialy if im diffin or things like that but i no to keep pullin the mat down now every so often glad to hear u got away ok :D

yas were right there wasnt enought water in the bottle. I just thought if there was water goin to the window there would be enough for the lights but clearly i was wrong how stupid do i feel thanks for the help :P

pressed the button for them today and nothing happened so i got the girlfriend to press it and i stood outside the car and i could hear the motor in the left hand washer buzzin but it wasnt liftin up and the other is makin no noise of the motor so i lifted them by hand by pullin them out and pressed the button yet nothin happened and they are goin in and out freely so its not like there jammed down anyone help here?? any ideas??? :tsktsk:

i have this prob but even though theres 6 cds jammed in it the unit said there was 5 tonight so i pressed load and the heap of crap took another cd so now my 6disk changer now has 7 disks

lookin to buy spare wheels for the back of my is200 but just wanted to know will any toyota wheels fit eg supra or mr2 wheels??

thanks colin i rang lexus belfast on sat and took the car in to see what the story was and the nice lady managed to keep a straight face and tell me a reconditioned unit was goin to be £1100 i thought she was jokin and said ur not serious and she said she was i see a post by 6speed on the board about a firm fixin them for 250 but now i think il look about a tv instead :D

then whats error3 as ive just started gettin it and cant get disks to play or eject anyone know how this is sorted and if warranty covers it

just a few questions i have electric seats my car is a 99 sport i have an electric drivers seat yet manual passenger seat i thought the 2 seats should be electic or is this not the case?? heated seats also with the heated seat when i push the button the heat comes on but seems to only stay on for a few mins. Is this the way it should be or is mine broke and if it is supposed to be like this can it be changed to stay on ?? :D traction control when i take the car out diffin at shows she goes round and round no bother with the tc switched off but when i try and put her sideways like to drift her then the traction control comes on itself and starts beepin. WHY?? headlights the dipped beam in the car is awful yet i got the lights adjusted and its no better i have to almost keep the full beam when drivin at night . are any other cars like this or is it just bad lights and what can be done about this??? thanks a lot folks for readin this and any advise given B)

hows it goin everyone im new on here :D i have just bought my first lexus a is200 sport shes a 00 model and shes being picked up tomorrow( i really cant wait) just wondered what do i need to know about these car are they as sore on fuel as people say or is the cd changer goin to give problems?? anything u think i should know :)
