Hi Paradroid. I got me an IS 200 sport 02 reg and its brilliant, handling and performance. Before this i had a civic type-r 04 reg,now that was mad and very uncomfortable ride .it was a go cart for the road . I was happy to give up a brand new car for one that was 3 yrs old(some have said i was mad,but luxury quality and some decent performance out way just speed). I have not regretted swapping to a lexus in any way,so i feel it will be the best choice you make. neuty

Hi all. I`m in a similar position to matt.My IS200 Sport went for its 40,000 service (£370).Lexus b`ham have said that my front pads are 90/95% worn and need replacing ,and my rear disks are 90% worm ,the disks are the same. Now after a bit of moaning at them,i`ve had the car for 10 months,done 4000 miles and my brakes are shot concerned me that they were in bad condition originally.They agreed to pay for the rear disks and have priced me at £137 for the front disks and £120 for the rears.The car has still to go back for a cd exchange when one arrives. Now do i go for the Lexus deal or do i try somewhere else. Is there any Lexus specialist garages in the west midlands or staffordshire area that anybody has used. Any advice is most welcome. Neuty

Hi all. my first post ,had my is200 for a month and its a stunning car, i am having the error 3 show up on the display also,but what i have found,and so as everyone probably ,is that al the disks i have a problem with are light coloured cdr`s.i`ve now tried dark coloured cdr`s(verbatim)and everthing plays perfect.the disk reads quicker and returns back to the same place when turning the car off and back on. hope this is of any help neuty last cars: civic sport, civic type-r. is200 the out right winner
