  1. If this was me and it was a large sum of money, i'd take the matter into my own hands and be heading to the address with with the boys, either to collect the money, item or maybe both :-) What area did the item get posted to? Maybe someone lives close?
  2. I found with using mintex pads on the front all's they did was move about in the caliper when braking, i kept getting a clunking noise when turning and braking, even added the shim kit to try and stop it. In the end i just bought the toyota stock pads... and now no more clunking :-) Maybe i just had two badly machined sets... i dunno.
  3. Hi guys How do the discs secure onto the Hub? I fitted new discs (Mintex) a few months back but the disc on one side does not sit tight onto the hub. So when the pads grip the disc i can hear a knockin noise as the disc moves a fraction and hits agains the studs. I on my old vauxhall the hub had a tapped hole that a retaining bolt would hold the disc onto the hub. There doesnt seem to be anything like this on my is200. Is it because im not using genuine toyota parts that its not fitting tight? Cheers guys
  4. Try parking here next time see does it do it. (in the yellow square bit) Click the Thumb
  5. I get this same problem when parking at the Trafford centre in a certain carpark area. It locks after about 4 attempts then it plays silly beggers when you try to unlock it. I end up just using the key to get in which sets off the alarm at this point panic sets in and im swearing my head off cursing the car and everyone is looking at you as if your trying to half inch it! Anyone else suffer this at the trafford centre?
  6. I can second this...... loads of tread out of them and at £72.50 a tyre delivered (mytyres.co.uk), Bargain! Cheers
  7. they are illegal aftermarket hids and i didnt even know i got pulled by the old bill telling me that the lighting pattern was out of shape on the road and that aftermarket HID kits are illegal unless in the correct head lamp And sure enough i got home and checked http://www.dft.gov.uk/pgr/roadsafety/drs/hidheadlamps
  8. Think i need to get booked in to see the Doc, think the car has a bad dose. Steering wheel doesnt look central, dunno if you could fix it when doin the geo? Whats the prices and location? Im in Merseyside. :)
  9. I have a IS200/300: 90363-32035 Front Bearing sat in front of me here (dont ask lol) Details stamped on the bearing: Japan NACHI 328VV07-8G
  10. NEW "SEE THRU" TIRES Radical new tire design by Michelin. The next generation of tires. These tires are airless and are scheduled to be out on the market very soon. The bad news for law enforcement is that spike strips will not work on these tires. This is what great R&D will do, and just think of the impact on existing technology: a. no more air valves b. no more air compressors at gas stations c. no more repair kits PICS HERE Wonder what the ride will be like on these bad boys?, I used to have a set of un-popable tyres on my mountain bike and you could feel every nuck an cranny in the road!
  11. Ok i bought one a while back from the US.. It Does pick all FM frequencie up so you'll get all your local radio stations etc but it wont have RDS so you wont get text showing RADIO 1 on the display when your tuned in, It'll just disply 98.5 or what ever radio 1 is in your neck of the woods. They have SIRIUS Satellite Radio... so you'll find on the radio it'll have a button for SIRIUS that wont work what so ever over here! I just flogged mine on, on ebay!
  12. Ive gone for cerwin vega all round cept for the headunit which is Alpine. All fits together like cheese on toast :D
  13. ive got both 6000k and 8000k, out of the two i like 6000k the best..... so bright and white.
  14. You need the 9005 bulbs for your high beam mate and 9006 for the dip... :) If you are getting these from ebay make sure you are clear on which ones you want as me and rogue went to fit his Hids tonight and the guy had sent him full beam ones instead of the dipped ones he had ordered Lol ive been down that road already.. i have two sets of ballasts and 3 sets of 9006 bulbs. I want to make use of the spare set of ballast. So the 9005 is for the main beam.. the ones you flash people with? also what type of bullb is the fog lights, the ones in the bumper? Cheers
