  1. The price quoted is for a complete battery (which looks to be made up of a alot of different parts!), but does not include any fitting charge. At the moment i don't think there is any concern over hybrid system at Lexus as it is just an evolved version of what is fitted to the Toyota Prius. These have been out for nearly 6 years now and i am yet to know of one having a hybrid system problem (battery or otherwise) so that has to be good news!
  2. Just for future reference the cost of the hybrid system battery is £3436.38p +Vat . I am trying to find out the warranty situation from Lexus.
  3. With the part number i gave you, you will now get a metal key instead of a plastic one as they are prone to wearing
  4. If the Wheels are the proper Lexus sports wheels then a kit can be bought for a £3.21 +Vat which is a new key and i think four nuts for the centre caps. The part number is PZ439-10671-2P and any Lexus dealer can get them in about 2 days.
  5. Have been informed that the RX350 will produce 270hp and have better fuel economy than the 300
  6. One suggestion is to not take the bulb out yourself again as it could kill you The power running through these systems is incredible so get someone qualified to change the bulb. You can source bulbs after market but they are still expensive.
  7. When you think about it the amount of technology these cars have is incredible and they are brilliantly engineered! Take the 430 engine, I don't think a Lexus dealer in the country has stripped one of these engines as they are bullet proof. We had a customer come in with an engine knock and Lexus sent engineers from Japan to have a look at it as they have not had a problem. In the end Lexus sent out an entire new engine and we had to send the old one back without even draining the oil because they want to check it out. Now take BWW a few years ago when they had a recall on all 4 pot engines because they werent cast properly!!!!!!!!!!! Lexus can put all this technology on their cars and you can be confident that 99% of the cars will be fine, but when a car does go wrong they get it sorted. I'll shut up now
  8. Any dealer can help you get an owners manual. We would need your reg number as they vary with production date. If you pm me your reg i can get you a price and part number.
  9. Lexus have had problems with the back orders on the sports grille. All they could tell us dealers is that there is a "supply problem". We do try our best to get parts when we say we can but sometimes we are let down by Lexus for various reasons. All we can then do is ring Dealer Liason who then have to get in touch with Belgium or possibly even Japan. All we can do in these instances is keep yourselves informed of the situation and keep chasing Lexus.
  10. I got my broadband through Tiscali and it was quite painless until i moved I have been told it can take 20 working days to transfer my broadband to my new place (which is only 200 metres from where i moved from). Tiscali have also said that i should keep an eye on my e-mail for information!!!!!!!!!!! That may be difficult
  11. If you are talking about the lower arm bush that attaches into the rear hub carrier then i am afraid that the bush comes as part of the carrier. The carrier retails at about £125. On top of this you will need a wheel bearing as it is pressed into the carrier and usually falls apart when it is taken out. I have asked about the labour time on this and it seems about a 3 hour job to do. Don't know about antyhing aftermarket but you may be able to get the bush seperately although i think it would be a bugger to change.
  12. You can get another master key at the moment, it will cost about £150ish to be purchased and coded to the vehicle. But once you lose all the master keys you will need a lock set and engine ECU as the car needs a master key to code from.
  13. Clarke and Evans are a good bodyshop but i am afraid i don't know of Colour Correction. I know C&E deal with a few Lexus and i haven't heard of any complaints.
