  3. yes bazza he does and i had agreed to get some stuff done through him. But since i asked for a date/time (several times) to book the car in and drive over to MK i've heard nothing....
  4. hi mate did you get my pm about trying to help mr mole out? nope  drop me another mate, my inbox has been pretty full recently. EDIT: just checked again and nothing there mate.
  5. I had the full conversion a while back but didnt like the fogs staying on with the sidelights so put it back to fog/brake and then fitted the pulse units to the fogs.
  6. Bob's lexx, like it johnboy, but prefer Rob  think i will be coming with someone also (not sure who yet....), so its a +1 for me
  7. sorry to go a little , but can u reccomend anywhere in the midlands barry to get some spray work done?? I've been looking round a few places but always better to have a few more contacts....
  8. UPDATE: Met up with Paul earlier and tidied up a few loose ends that were on the 'to do' list and didn't get sorted properly last weekend. So now the headunit is fully functioning with an integrated bluetooth handsfree kit - we had an initial problem with this last week as it lost all form of power and turned out to have blown the fuse - after some fiddling it turned out that it was the result of a bad earth on the bluetooth unit and now that's sorted it works fantastic. Its not the Pioneer bluetooth unit as for £120 i think they're having a laugh - so instead i'm running a Bury Comfort Compact kit and the audio plays through the drivers side speaker and the stereo/dvd/etc automatically mutes when an incoming call comes in - pretty trick! lol!! Also attached the dimmer feed to the headunit (forgot last week) so that now dims slightly when the lights are switched on - ideal for night time driving. Also finally got round to fitting the wide angle ice white LED bulbs for the rear number plate lights - not seen them in the dark yet but in the day they look a much better colour compared to the filament type. Gotta say another big thanks to Paul for helping me out earlier - top bloke!!
  9. ur probably looking at around 1.5-2k for a good quality job with all under the bonnet and boot liner sorted i'd think mate.
  10. Dave, take it to pm please as its crapping up the forum/thread etc etc. There was no need to bring this back up and as stav said, if you had a problem with what has been said then that's what the report button is for - its in all members interest to report actions they do not agree with. I can see you wanna 'defend' ur corner, but there's a right way and a wrong way........................
  11. sorry but i really dont think this sort of info should be posted in a public domain like this. not right at all. dave, if you have a problem with what has been said then take it up via pm, email, telephone, spiritual messaging, MMS, brail, Invisible ink, whatever, just not on here mate. I'm not the LOC police, but it aint right and there's no need for it.
  12. aye the camcon adjusts the VVTi or something along those lines and i've heard reports from a couple people that if set up accordingly it can give more low down grunt. quite pricey though for what they are IMO....
  13. ahh ok mate, glad u got it fitted alright. sorry i missed ur call earlier- was in the lab trying not to kill myself  yea it does take some getting used too but believe me its soooooooooooooooooo much better than standard!! and it does 'slacken off' as u say over time and reverse on mine is now very smooth to get into. rob
  14. not sure there's muich else to be honest apart from maybe fitting a camcon and adjusting it accordingly??
  15. Hi Barry, Sure we could get another one organised as they always end up beign a good meet with a lot of banter - or me supposedly dancing like vanilla ICE, lol!!! Keep ur eyes on the meets section and i'll get a thread going shortly. Might be a good opportunity for me to have a chat to you about the work we spoke about. cheers rob
  16. coming along a treat matey - mucho respect for the project as a whole!! i like the puddle lights and on a VIP themed car then its an absoloute must IMHO. Will lokk superb once its all done!! rob
  17. looks good matey - sits much better now. The ICE install helps lower it a bit as well :winky: just gotta get that shifter sorted now - shouldn't be a problem though fella. rob
  18. this sounded wicked!! was well impressed with it myself - didnt think it'd be all that but i was mightily impressed when we had some movies on (not that sort, lol!! :shutit: )....
  19. mine are fine steve..... i have 24 LED tower bulbs in my fogs and no problems whatsoever. i did try two ther types and wasnt happy with them but the one's i have fitted are more than up to the job. i'llput a thread together tomorrow regarding these units and people can ask questions and get the neccesary details from there.....
  20. yes matey, thats the one. me and stav went halves on an order and bought the stuff for both our cars about a year ago now i think. easy to install and work an absoloute treat!! you will need LED bulbs thoigh for them to work.... i have mine hooked up to the fog light bulbs so my fog lights pulse when i brake and the standard tail light brake lights and rear window brake light illuminate normal. looks B) B)
  21. have you seen his plates though!! And the fact that he wants to tint his front windows :shutit: And also the fact that Ormi's better half is a traffic cop  So are the pulsing ones road legal ??? i've had both types and currently have the pulse sequencer modules fitted (the better of the two IMHO) and never had any problems matey
  22. aaron, thos etwo arn't the proper B&M shifters matey. might still be a good kit, but i have no experience with them.....
