  1. take it thats just to have the parts sprayed and no blending etc etc?? still a good price mate. i'm looking at £250 for a 2nd hand TTE front bumper and TTE rear skirt.....
  2. heard about this a little while ago. very tragic news. my thoughts go out to the families. rob
  3. looks like a good example chris. whats the interior on the skylines like?? i've never had a proper nosey so have no idea..... bet it goes well though. there's a lovely white one round me and a custom metallic purple flick one as well - tend to hear them before you see them, lol!! all the best rob
  4. look nice matey. what offset are they as they seem to stick out maybe a fraction more than OEM at the front?? could just be the angle of the pic?? or my eyes, lol!!
  5. these look really good matey. can i ask how u go about doing them?? is it a c/f film wrap kit or similar?? how long does each item take etc?? cheers rob
  6. yup, believe they are the ones. what u'll need depends how u have the brakes wired - i have fog to brake conversion, stav i believe has fog to brake/sidelight conversion. i *think* i had the single circuit and stav the dual?? as for bulbs, you need to run led's. so i wired mine so when i brake my standard brake taillamps and the brake light in the rear window illuminate normally (standard filament bulbs) and i have 24 LED tower bulbs in my fog light housings so they pulse when i brake. looks wicked mate, lol!!
  7. which are a LOT better if u ask me..... but i have a set of the originals somewhere - moved house and everythings everywhere - was gonna sell them to ormi but took me that long to find everything that he managed to get some from another member which was cool... I would be worried that if they were flashing all the time would have a lot of ****** of people, are you still planning on selling them? mate, they only pulse when u brake - which is at 20 pulses per second for 2 seconds....hardly a disco!lol! never had any bad complaints etc etc - in fact, quite the opposite.....have had a few people follow me to petrol stations etc and comment how clever/funky/useful they are. help following drivers react better when braking. plus they look the nuts, lol!! stav has them fitted to his also.... problem with the ball bearing type like i had was that they don't always pulse evenly - i.e one side sometimes pulses and not the other - based on road conditions, cornering weights etc etc. also, the LED light they emit is no way near as bright as it needs to be IMHO....hence why i changed.

  9. just called them and the chap seemed absoloutly bang on - real nice bloke. unfortunately, they have no fascias in stock as the holding warehouse got flooded or something like that so guess i'll get one from the bay - probably the one from the 2nd link i posted in the 1st post as that works out the cheapest IIRC. so should have the bypass lead tomorrow and *hopefully* the fascia by the weekend.......
  10. i got mine from this boy heres the item number 190306963213 £49.95 for the lead and the face plate adapter. cheers for the link fella. but 50 quid is a bit pricey for the two items i reckon mate - will have a word with the suppliers in the link stevie posted and see if they have the cable and fascia set available...... looking forward to having this all up and running :D B)
  11. nice one mate - must say i do like the RX-8's heard a lot about oil consumption on them though matey?? are they easy to tune engine wise?? think i've heard of a few s/c'd ones floating about - that would be wicked!! but not sure how the rotary engine is like to start adding forced induction etc??
  12. Are they meant to have the TTE badge on that small recess or the sport logo-ive seen both and the bumper i currently have on the dining room table has the sport logo IIRC.
  13. those legacy's are damn good cars!! and rapid too!!!
  14. cheers stevie, think i'll give them a call. every little saving helps, lol!! rob
  15. ahh nice one aaron, thanks for that. bit more pricey than i thought it was to be honest - but oh well, it is what it is i guess. so my new headunit will deffo have the relevant connections for this lead etc?? sorry if thats a dumb question but i have no idea what the back of the OEM stereo etc etc looks like..... either of those two fascia's should be ok for a double din unit then?? cheers rob
  16. hey up guys, wanting to order the two remaining parts i need for my headunit install. i believe i need an amp bypass cable and a fascia surround. I have looked on ebay and am confused as to which bypass cable i need as there are several ISO this that and the other's on there and i don't wanna get the wrong one..... if its relevant, my cars a 2000 IS200 sport and the OEM headunit is 13902 model..... any links to the required cable would be wicked. as for the fascia surround....is something like this the best one to get?? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/AUTOLEADS-TOYOTA-LEX...93%3A1|294%3A50 or http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Lexus-IS-200-Car-Ste...93%3A1|294%3A50 is there anything else i'm likely to need in order to get it all fitted or shoudl i be fine and dandy with the above?? rob
  17. i'm sure ur right mate, but still made me choke on the ice cold staropramen i was enjoying at the time!!lol!!
  18. maybe rob might be able to advise as he replaced all that sort of stuff a while back.... also patrik lindblom has recently replaced his pulley screws so he may be able to advise you matey. hope no damage has been done though fella. rob
  19. i'm still gob-smacked by some muppets out there!! honestly, what the heck is this guy smoking?!?!?!
  20. when i saw that pic i was half expecting some witty comments, lol!! surprised no-one got in with any till now!! was PMSL at ur suggestion though wozza!lol!!!
  21. what sort of budget u got in mind chris??? u thought about an MR2 tubby? personally i was never the biggest fan of the soarers in terms of looks, but they've certainly grown on me as of late. Maybe the soarer TT would be my pick out of those??
  22. as above^^^^^ unless i've missed something, i think this guy's on cloud cuckoo land!!! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/LEXUS-IS-200-SPORT-F...93%3A7|294%3A50
  23. mat clawley has this conversion - monster mat a LOT of time and money matey.......
  24. saw these on the bay - might be of interest to someone on here??? both sets look in good nick and certainly not the more common 5-spoke design. if they were 18's i'd have them myself!! http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/lexus-is200-300-allo...93%3A1|294%3A50 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Lexus-17-Alloy-Wheel...93%3A1|294%3A50
