my car has the bridgestones the rear offside ids the one thats punctured took the metal out of the wheel (it is a boot catch hook 4" x 2") tried to post a picture but obviously not technical enough the tyre is a writeoff only done 380 miles :tsktsk:

Had my IS250 since wednesday :D got to work this morning and as i looked out the window at my 250 ( as you do ) saw i had a puncture went to the car and i have a piece of metal about 2" wide stuck into the tyre looks like a new tyre already :tsktsk:

i ordered my car on 17/09/2005 paid my deposit ,i have a compliment slip guaranteeing me a november car i got a phone call saying delay until 15/12/2005 i later chased for an update and got told sometime in jan 2006 i then contacted drivethedeal.co.uk with the exact spec i had ordered they knocked £ 1500 off the price i was paying and guarantted they could deliver the car (from a lexus main dealer) before 1/12/2005 i then rang lexus back with this information and to cancel my order i got a phone call off lexus saying that my car will now be delivered on 1/12/2005 !!! makes you think that our cars are being sold to other people to secure orders and us poor people who have already firm ordered are having to wait also i never had a test drive (lots of promises ,we will ring you later to sort one out ) seems to me because i ordered early i am being treated second best must be my suspicious mind also as i

i actually placed my order ( not just a deposit ) on the 7th september for silver is250 with multi media package ,black leather i have a compliment slip which says "you are guaranteed a november car" :) i had a phone call saying it would be 15 december now been informed sometime in january :tsktsk: i will now have to watch all the lucky people theirs until i finally get mine

has anyone else who has placed an order for the is250 had a call from the dealer saying that there will be a delay on their car and it will not be ready for the 19 th mine will now be 15/12/05 hopefully ( i placed the order in september) they also said some cars have been put back until jan06 thanks

Just had a call from lexus re my order for IS250 WITH MULTI MEDIA Was due on the 19 th ( mine was the second order at the dealership) letting me know the price £ 28,620 Also that there is a delay on the cars into the UK and mine will be due hopefully on the 14/12/05 THEY ALSO SAID THEY ARE RINGING ANYONE WHO HAS AN ORDER AND TELLING THEM THE SAME THINGS

seem to be having problems posting so forgive my cockups i ordered the car without test driving etc because my TT is due back of lease on the 01/11/05 i tried to sort out a 3-6 month contract on another car to give me time to test the is250 but the companies i deal with all wanted to rent me a car on a daily basis which would have cost £££ so as i know lexus would not be bringing the is250 out without it being a great car i thought i would order one ! i have ordered the 250 in argento ice with the multimedia package and black interior went to the bolton dealership :tsktsk: bought the car from leeds :D also i bought the TT without testing that either

New member , so be easy on me ! Just bit the bullet and ordered a new IS250 for delivery 18/11/05 ish i have a audi TT at the moment (i was going to buy a is200 ,3 years ago but when i went into the dealer they gave me the impresion that they thought i could not afford one ,so i bought the TT instead and paid more for it i went back to the same dealer about a month ago and was still not overly kean on the response i got so, i have now ordered the car from another dealer who obviously wanted the business anyway looking forward to the lexus experiance in a couple of months :D
