Hi All. I have a 07 GS 450h just been for its first MOT, It just passed the handbrake/ footbrake test. Can any body tell me how efficient the parking brake is on the GS models ?. The 450h is is a lot heavier than the 300,so does this make it less effective? Just back from Lexus. They say the parking brake shoes are worn out,and need replacing at a cost. The car is still under warr, 30000 miles on the clock, how can this be ??

I am in the proccess of changing blown bulbs in instument sw,s. Can anyone tell me if there are any back lights up on the moon roof control panel?.

Has anybody changed back lights on heated seat switchs and trac/control switch. My car is under the used car warr, not sure if instrument lights are covered. What other controls should light up. [Edited on 27-4-2002 by JILMAR]

No long bleep, you just hear the locks activate. I know if you hold the button down the windows open or close. Is it dead locking? Checked manual but no info on second push of the remote.

Can anyone help? When you set the remote locking,the indicators flash once, if you push the lock key again it flashes the indicatos 5 times, what is it doing?. [Edited on 25-4-2002 by JILMAR]

Hi all . looking to buy a s/h Lexus from a local main dealer.Have two in mind old shape 96 sport 87000 miles,which I have driven only to find it wont fit into the garage. 3in to long. The other is 200 miles away, a new shaped 300SE 89000 miles £500 . dearer. But will go in. Which one should I go for ?. Thinking about equipment levels , ie radio, age etc.If you think the old one is better it will have to sit on the drive. Looking forward to your comments.
