  1. This is the generation 1 R-Vit. It cannot disable the speed cut function at all. Plugs directly to our OBD port and will display quite a handful of useful information, like intake air temperature, injector duty, ignition timing, water temperature at thermostat, ATF temp (for AT), etc. The generation 2 R-Vit is called the R-Vit i-color. It has the same retail price!! The R-Vit i-color is Toyota CAN bus compliance! So it will work with the new Lexus and can display additional information like wide band A/F, control injector duty as well as radiator Fan speed! It even takes additional oil temp and oil pressure sensor!
  2. I'm using Wald floor mat currently. http://www.wald.co.jp/catalog/interior/floor/index.html

    3sge

We've got a altezza 3S-GE block (without piston, conrods, crank, cams) up for GBP800 i think. will be great for race since the missing items will be replaced by race components anyway.

    New Fuel

We have V Power here in Singapore a few years back and it's RON98. Malaysia's V Power is RON97. My engine pings under boost with V Power still but has no problem with Caltex 98.
  5. Exactly.. that's what I was warned by friends here that there's a lot of details to look at in order to find the right injectors... Those Blitz ones that u have gotten off Ebay are quoted specifically for altezza? I saw all kinds of injectors on Ebay but they did not mentioned specific car type.. cheers Somehow I think I am one of those friends of yours :P Blitz Side feed 525cc hi resistance injector 0.99ms JPY10,000 each ;)
  6. sounds like a vvt-i problem to me because toyota vvt-i uses oil pressure to phase and around 5000 rpm is a major phasing point.
  7. Pipes to throttle body? Coolant? Sounds like a oil pipe from the turbo. Coolant leak will release steam and should be odourless while oil produces smoke when contacted with hot surface. =(
  8. wow.... it makes me feel good somehow that I'm paying about GBP300 for 3rd party fire and theft with zero NCB and claim loading over here.
  9. I'm dismissing the idea of turbo charging my car after I sat in a 350 hp Trust turboed Altezza. The Blitz s/c is still faster The lag was horrible. I put my foot on it and nothing! with the s/c, my car would be flying.
  10. The Power Enterprise S/C kit is a centrifugal supercharger while the Blitz S/C is a twin Roots charger. Power Enterprise has a S/C+Turbo kit as well.
  11. not really sure but I did experience once while doing a hard cornering and when the traction control kicks in, the engine just turned to idle but the throttle is in WOT. However, after I release the throttle everything was back to normal as usual.
  12. For turbo chargers, there WAS quite a few basic bolt on kit available. Broken

Hmm... AM, I can't tell much from the symptoms but one thing I suspected was the supercharger may have seized or one of the pulley had a broken bearing. When the belt broke other than the reason of not being tigtened, it will be the bearing in one of the pulleys. You might want to check them.
  16. Do u have a Blitz compressor too? yeah i wanna go turbo once i can get a set of low comp head gasket :winky:
  17. anybody wants my blower after i switched to turbo? :P
  18. i should have save the pulley for myself ha ha... oh AM, just a reminder to get your charger belt changed. I'm changing every 5,000 km. Do a visual check to see if the grooves are worn. If so, might snap pretty soon.
  19. According to Brash Boy Japan, they have managed to adapt the Power FC to the AT ecu
  20. Chi, do HKS still make there monster turbo kit? I'm not quite sure AM. Have not contacted HKS sales guy. But the HKS 540 PS Altezza uses GT3037 and requires sh|t loads of works on the engine and fuel system, and the stock gear box and center drive shaft needs to be strengthened, if not replaced as well. I hope to modify a Trust/GReddy manifold to fit a GT-RS turbo, and the Blitz S/C intercooler. Anything more will be difficult to be used as daily drive. :duh: http://www.hks-hokkaido.co.jp/event/autosalon06.html
  21. FYI, I believe the Blitz R-Fit is on clearance sales (130 quid), well at least over here, to make way for the new ECU. ;) Or get a Power FC if yours a MT.
  22. My opinion is that if you are going to target about 260 hp, the S/C will be a better choice. I'm also targeting 340-400 hp. Blitz has stopped their production for their K3-450 kit for RS200. Apexi has stopped production as well. I think my next step will be to get some toda low comp piston and con rods and put it a GT-RS. Should be good up to 370 hp. :)

    Altezza

1.5 way Torsen LSD standard on all MT RS200.
  24. Did you buy the reader online? I bought a FEW online claiming to be the leader in OBD products and a few which can plug into Pocket PC, but most only work on certain make, as opposed to ALL OBD-II complaint. However, when I plug my R-Vit into the OBD port, it works flawlessly.
