Thank ***, I have managed to sell my Lexus IS300!!!!!!! I have never had such an unreliable, costly and dissapointing heap of junk in all my life. The only way I managed to get rid of it was by part exchanging it for a BMW - no mug wanted to buy it and I cant say I blame anyone. My only satisfaction is that I have managed to persuade 10 people not to buy Lexus and I intend to continue this policy (currently costing Lexus well in excess of £300k). My BMW is fantastic - not sure how Lexus can even talk about the IS300 in the same breath as the 330Ci?? So long Lexus.

Does anyone have a problem with excessive tyre wear on the IS300?? I have had to have 2 new sets of tyres on the front of the vehicle and one set on the back after 6000 miles per set. Is this normal?? The inside edge of the tyres go bald before the majority of the tread has got to below 6mm. I have approached Lexus before and they say that the cars need to have regular computerised 4 wheel alignment checks but how often at £50 per time?? Most of my cars in the past have had tyres replaced after 30000 miles plus. I would be interested if anyone has the same problem because I intend to take legal action to recover costs amounting to £600 plus thus far. Thanks, Mark.
