  6. Ian - you realize that the handbrake doesn't use the discs/pads mate?? - there's shoes inside the small drum inside the rear discs that are JUST for the handbrake. It's prolly the shoes that are buggrid

  10. I ahve the Lexus SatNav and a Road Angel device, both of which use GPS receivers through the windscreen - there's nothing in the screen that blocks GPS signals

  12. How are you connecting the Sky box to the DVDR? - if you're using the optical link then you'll need to enable Dolby Digital in the Sky+ settings. Conversely, if you're not using the optical link, you need to make sure that DD is NOT selected, and you cannot send DolbyD down an RCA/Scart lead HTH x

  17. Anything that comes ready in less than 8 seconds should work OK - Maxtopr drives are known to give good results. I have the original 40Gb drive from my Sky+ box here if you want to make an offer for it. There's a good thread on DigitalSpy which gives a list of drives that work linky

  20. I have one of these, and justy upgraded from a 6310i like you. You don't need a new car kit either - you can get a little insert jobbie that slots inside the old car kit so that it fits new phone - the adaptor costs 30 quids and works a treat - it works a bit like a cradle within a cradle (if that makes sense) Phone is brill too.
