    I recently bought a 42inch Plasma Tv - Hitachi, What Plasma mag rated it as one of the best pictures in the 42inch bracket - I'm very pleased with it indeed. Whatever you buy, make sure it's HD ready or you'll regret it sooner or later.

    I'm getting very saddened by the amount of actors that seem to turn up in different series - it's almost like a club - Atlantis, Excalibur, Voyager, Enterprise, Andromeda, Farscape and SG-1 seem to share the same actors. Farscape and SG-1 has just got to be a joke

    I just got a 6230i which seems to be a phone, camera, video camera, MP3 playerand radio - also has bluetooth and triband O2 are giving them away with any decent tarrif, and a bluetooth headset as well.

    I have a Mk2 with 180,000 on the clock and it's perfect. All my mileage is on the motorway too (about 40k a year) and the computer says that the average consumption is about 24mph (the aircon is always on),

    I've had mine for about 3 years and it's been perfectly reliable - I wouldn't be without it. On a PC, you don't need a modem, it connects via a serial port to the PC (later versions have USB). You have to pay a subscription to BlackSpot to get the updates - it's £99 for life or less for a year at a time.

    I wasn't aware that the Mk2 GS had an inbuilt antenna - where is it on the car? I just replaced my phone for a Nokia 6230i which doesn't use an external antenna at all when it's on the Nokia car kit - works fine without one. You might just want to see how you get on without it.

    what version of GS asre you getting? IMO the easiest way if you really need an external antenna (many modern phones don't now) is to use a tax disk holder antenna - very cheap and easy to install.

    when I had the greenstuff discs and pads there was a constant clicking from the brakes - lots of people seemed to think it was normal (if annoying) at the time

    The gadget show did a feature on the new Sony HighDef camcorder and reckoned it was fantastic - s'about 1400 quids though and prolly only any use if you have a HD TV (or are thinking about getting one)
