  1. eBay - search for Lexus accumulator
  2. Usually, the earlier the car, the less problems there are in wiring the ECU into another chassis. In the case of the 1UZ, the earlier engines (pre-1994?), although a little less powerful, have stronger conrods and no VVTi to worry about, so there may be good reasons for picking the earlier model.

  4. 32 is the disc thickness in millimetres... but I have no idea about the rest.
  5. Don't you have the option pack which switches off the laws of physics?
  6. Powerhouse Garage in Camberley used to do a lot of Soarers...
  7. JDM Toyotas usually have a "diversity" antenna built into the rear screen and two aerial leads with large and small radio connectors.
  8. 800 Euros? It must be cheaper to have one made. I'd ask the local radiator specialists first. If you want an alloy rad, AlliSport and Forge are not far away (Gloucester).
  9. The early Soarers don't have fogs, they are turning lights. The appropriate side comes on with the indicators.
  10. Yeah, the calipers are (that's what I have done), but are the caliper carriers? I don't think they are. IIRC the bolt spacing on the hub is slightly different. A Supra 4-pot caliper bolts straight on to a GS, but you need off-centre inserts to bolt it to an IS. GS300 Mk1, GS300 Mk2, Soarer TT, SC430, and "J-spec" Supra Mk4 front calipers and carriers are interchangeable. GS300 Mk1, Soarer TT, and "J-spec" Supra Mk4 rear calipers and carriers are interchangeable.

  12. I doubt if anyone has done this swap in the UK because it's easier to just buy an Aristo. Try http://www.lexusownersclub.com
  13. Thanks. Might look into the bigger Supra brakes if they are not too dear. Will those be the Brembo 4 pots then? Also, I cant find front or rear strut braces anywhere for these cars. 4-piston front and 2-piston rear, but not Brembo. The Mk1 Aristo has a strut brace, if you can find one being broken .
  14. The front and rear brakes are the same as "J-spec" Mk4 Supra brakes, so you can look for Supra pads and discs, or fit the bigger UK Supra brakes.
