Any suggestions for repalcement brake discs and pads for the IS220D? Just got quoted an extra €580 onto my €430 50K miles service to have both replaced on the front. With the poor car performance (EGR to be replaced also so I can't even get up much speed), I would not mind trying some spurious ones.

Another disapointed owner of a 220D........ - very poor MPG - just making 35mpg on long journeys. - 5th fuel injector and cat replaced in Feb - EGR and 5th injector to be replaced on Friday....... €580 for brake discs and pads with 50K miles done??? Would not buy again.....you buy diesel for MPG. I loved my IS200 so if I was buying got a nice stereo/shape, it's back to the 250 for me. A4 looks a better option since I want to drive diesel.

At what miles should the timing belt be done on a 2001 S?

I have pictures of the problems on a word document but can't post them to this message...?? Car is entry (S) model....it does not have Sat Nav Does anyone have a rqdio to swap? I have still not resolved this issue. I am looking to swap the radio I have for a unit to fit my S model IS200. Anybody interested? The radio I bought which will not fit has a different socket set. I purchased a radio (CD slot on top) for my 2001 IS on this web site......when I received the radio it would not fit my car as the radio I received only requires two connectors at the back....my old radio has three....not including the antena. Problem may be that the radio I purchased is from a Altezza...... Can anyone help me? Know where to get an adaptor? Have details of the pins outs for the Radio to allow me to wire it in? Help appreciated.

I've just spoken to my local Lexus dealer about a replacement stereo for my 2001 IS200 - he asking for 900euro plus VAT. Anybody know where I can get one second hand? I'm in Dublin. Tried to jump start the car at the wekend and have blown the radio.....or so the garage tell me. Help please.
