Just take your car to your local garage,ask them to clean out the throttle body and the maf sensor. It's not a difficult job,maybe 1/2 hour.

The sound i am getting is a creaking sound if you know what i mean,and i am pretty sure its from the plastic trim underneath the glass. I dont know how this trim is held in place,maybe someone on here knows?

I need to get a spare key for my car,i have the master key.Bought a 3 button key off ebay and had it cut. Turns out its not a denso and wont programme.My car is a 2000 model.I dont want to try ebay again so i thought a friendly member on here could help :)

The tailpipe you are looking at has a diameter of 89mm.to fit over an 80mm exhaust. Does this not mean you will have 4.5mm gap around it ?

You have pm. I just think the new remote i bought is for a later model as it has 2002 stamped on the case.

Thanks,I have been looking for a while now,my local breakers reckon its impossible to reprogramme a key,but they would say that would'nt they? I have only ever had one car in my life with a spare key and am beginning to wonder if its worth the hassle.Anyway,i'll try the wanted section.

Just got a new uncut key off ebay,timpsons cut it for me.It opens the doors and boot sound. Despite reading nearly every topic on programming remotes i cannot get it to work. I am lead to believe i have bought a valeo unit,and i need the denso 4c chip/transponder. My question is where can i get a transponder from apart from ebay? Anyone got a spare one going?
