  5. quite pimp, it looked a play toy before.. now as you say a proper machine, I know the giant engine will clearly make it look serious anyway ;)
  6. Steve sorry I'm bothering you with this but when I joined virgin i believed it was vrigin broadband, it has that on the box it has come in.. but it says my router is the following: 54mbps wireless ADSL2+ modem router DG834GSP now I have no idea the difference between ADSL & Broadband. When I call virgin they say broadband themselves. My PS3 plugs into the lan line which can go upto 100mbps which I only just read about, the wireless laptop does drop from 54 to 48 quite abit which it never did before these problems arose I can still use the laptop though, I cant see the problem lying with the PS3 myself. But its worth thinking about... The problem Steve is that from 11am to 7.20pm tonight the connections on the PS3 have been brilliant then its dropped to useless :S every1 else online is fine including my friends. It's driving me nuts, contacting virgin again via e-mail now to see if the have any answers. May purchase another filter tomorrow to test it, but as I say the connection has been fine until peak time :( alos I noticed the problem when someone with the n range came on & someone who used Tiscali as well. I will update you later in the week & give them till monday, dont wana trouble you guys anymore with my problems lol.. P.S. No steve I dont have the super duper cable broadband they advertise on tv with Samuel Jackson they dont that in my area, they are rubbish... is that really broadband though I always knew it as either: dial up, broadband or Cable
  7. a long way but it was brilliant last time, lots & lots lex there :)
  8. Man Utd fan here, doesnt matter who won Utd will win :P
  9. Now picking up yet another connection arrggghhh all on channels 1 & 11 dam it
  10. Found this that infact shows me which channels these people are messing up for me... To explain again starting from my wall socket, it goes phone socket > filter > ethernet/phone cable > ethernet goes to the netgear wirless box in the ADSL hole which is working as i'm here wireless > then from a Lan hole 1 of 4 a ether cable goes to my ps3 This has been the set up for 14months no problems, virigin suggested there are no issues on the line for starters, they say cud be the filter but I believe there just making this up why would it break? As suggested I changed channel but the issue just started again channel 6 tonight its a nightmare. Thanks all for trying to help which is a hell of alot more than Virgin my ISP is doing, they are awful and I certainly will move, but if its something to with the line etc so other providers will have the same problem...
  11. My PS3 is plugged via ethernet cable to the wirless netgear box, then from there to the filter to the phone socket... It's a joke been working alright till 8:15 now totally rubbish again..
  12. Well mine is still droppin to 48mbps from 54mbps, every so often for no reason although playing online has improved slightly, i was told by the tech at virgin to check my connection at speedtest.net an the downloads speeds are x2 faster now i've moved to channel 6 which is a plus i suppose. Surfing the net has been fine, but its about my online ps3 game its effecting and really fustrating when I have to pay even when its not working satisfactory :( but so far it's been ok, maybe they were just overloaded over the bank holiday only time will tell.
  13. Seems to be still dropping from 54mbps to 48 every so often :( already
  14. Excellant stuff mate, now I can get to the settings why didnt the tech guys at virgin just tell me this stuff? Steve luckily it does have the details on the wireless box..lol I will try channels 1 & 6 see if it works normal again currently on Region: Europe Channel: 11 Mode: g & b thanks for you help all so much if it works ;) strange though Chris that we both have this problem the same work both on Virigin :( but my friend down the road on virgin has no problem, but has been suggested mayb other are clooging up my airwaves, I live in a flat an can just barely pick up another 5 mine is full signal theres are all 1 bar, but it's strange it not really done it over the last year or so.. but maybe they just got them :( will report back in a day or so :D I'm now on channel 1 Chris and its working fine again :D Going to do Channel 6 for a day or so, shud be clear if it works or not as like I said I play on the PS3 & was just being killed on COD5 constantly I was gutted :P

  16. The engine bay is looking tidy this time ;) nice work
  17. Chris has yours fixed itself yet? I have a netgear wireless router of which I plug my ps3 in by the ethernet anyway.. so it rules that out i believe... rang virgin on the overpriced line, an they told me they can see no problems in my line.. but I can clearly see it keeps dropping low an normal all the time.. I cant find where to change the channels etc as suggested above :(
  18. how can I do that? it's making me very angry cant even play online on the ps3 an that it plugged into the wirless router.. my connection speed on my wireless laptop keeps dropping from 54mbps to 48??? its never done this before though?
  19. I'm having huge problems now as well Chris with virgin as well dam it cant play my ps3 properly as the connection keeps dropping what the hell is going on???
  20. It is a good idea I've seen a few do it on here & I believe it makes a difference, JasonL has done this as I saw it on his at the Sprint Day :)
  21. Looks awesome I'd love a bike but only been on the back of one once & was sooo scared I was going to die didnt dare get one lol.. There just so quick & sound great though :)
  22. I got the engine cover off Jason on here when I got the induction kit from him, not sure if he made it himself. Yes the screw fitted in an replaced the longer screws in the engine bay, these are the ones I purchased and seem fine for now. You may want to get some shorter ones though as the original screws are not all same length I found, These are what I purchased
  23. Today I was soooo bored I spent time washing my car, this is one thing I really dont enjoy as it turns out worse that it started normally as I just wash it & let it dry itself. But today I thought I'd put some real effort and took several hours, I found that my dad had like every auto glym product in one bag he never used before, so I thought i'd give it a go lol.. Car before, it's not moved for 2months but it's still very dusty, dull paint and dirty :( After shiney & like new :D Started with some autoglym shampoo & conditoner wash stuff, followed by the Meguiars Clay kit I bought many moons ago, like everyone says I was shocked at the difference it made. The paint felt brilliant and after the autoglym polish I used & window cleaner the car looked stunning almost like new & really made me feel happy. Took many hours but it was looking good, but it really showed all the scratches and chips & there were millions sadly but its an old car and these things happen. But the weather was good & now tucked the car in the garage to keep the shine a little longer hopefully.
  24. Well not updated for some time so heres a few: So MOT time came in feb totally failed by many things, the main to get sorted where 2 new calipers of which I've still not got round to yet. Should have it sorted next month fingers crossed, been off the road 2 months it's been killer. But on the other hand it's given me time to sort the engine bay out a little again, the engine was very dirty never really been cleaned in the 10yrs I believe lol... The plastic covers I'd already sprayed red but had not done to well the first time an it started to peel, this time I took alot more time(few coats of primer, colour & laquer) an it looks alot better. Example before (Red) Now (Blue) Disaster happend at one stage and still needs to be sorted, previously I must of screwed the screws in to hard an with the rust. When it came to taking one out it snapped the head off, so gotta have ago at drilling it out sometime this week :( On a lighter note I bought some new screws to replace the really rusty ones, they were M6 ones as Bazza & Stav pointed out just need to get some shorter ones as well now. As I noticed there are some short & long ones in the originals, the ones I bought were closer to the long ones.. I also bought some silicone hoses to fit so I've started abit & also had some wire covers in the closet for months that I'm slowly fitting also, just to bring abit of colour to the by and keep it cleaner. And so I got to spray all the plastic covers etc again along with the battery bar which needed cleaning up alot with a wire brush was just so dirty an rusty.. Added the final cover all the plastic covers painted now :) Things left to do: 1) Fit Strut Cover(not opened from Group Buy yet) 2) Fit Engine Cover 3) Pass MOT, get new calipers & fill with all new fluids. 4) Fit Mitex pads & Discs had since Summer last year at least lol… 5) Bling up the Manifold Covers I think :) 6) Save up for new car think It’s time to move on & currently have my eye on a few, but need to wait a few more months ;)
