  1. Hi all, I’m currently using the old Garmin Mini 2 connected to the USB on the NX350H. I’ve not gone for the OBD-II port adapter as I’m waiting for an update to the Lexus Dashcam. The dealer told me a year ago that he thought there was an update in the pipeline but I’ve not seen anything since so still waiting.
  2. Yes, it was on the Viking Adventure and in the two weeks since it docked the car has been up to Derby and I’ve had the email to say that it’s now arrived in Exeter. Positive news indeed.
  3. NX350h F Sport ordered end November ‘21 and 2 weeks to the day since the Viking Adventure docked at Portbury 👍
  4. Hi Andy, thank you so much for taking the trouble to load these photos. It’s certainly confirmed that it’s not worth getting the 350h boot liner in the short term. Longer term, I can look into aftermarket alternatives with better quality than the new boot liners. The Maxliner ones are as expensive as Lexus but look very good however I may have to order from USA. They’re floor mats may also be better quality than the latest Lexus ones.
  5. Thanks Andy and Ken. Andy, if it’s not too much trouble, a photo will be very useful. Ken, I am also disappointed that Lexus had slimmed down the protection pack. The chrome strip they fitted as part of the 300h pack looks a lot more fit for purpose than the self adhesive film they now fit to the new NX.
  6. My winter rubber mats on the NX300h are hardly worn, does anyone know if these and the boot liner will fit the NX350/450? Just working out what to order before the car arrives.
  7. That’s the date the dealership gave me on Thursday. If it does dock at Portbury on the 14th, all the better 👍
  8. My NX350h F Sport was ordered at the end of November ‘21. It’s currently on the Viking Adventure which is docking in Spain this evening and an ETA of 24th at Portbury. EDD is second week of November. Make sure your dealer speaks to Lexus regarding compensation for the frustrating delays as they seem quite happy to give you £500.
  9. Received the same email this morning. My NX350h F-Sport with panoramic roof ordered 28th Nov ‘21 is built and just left the factory. I assume it’ll be on the same ship as yours. I think you’ll be looking at a pick-up at the beginning of November.
  10. I ordered an NX350h F Sport in sonic grey with panoramic roof on 28th Nov ‘21. I’ve also had the update this week stating that the car has finally gone into build. I’ve not had any official pick-up date but going by the accounts on this discussion thread, I’m expecting it to be mid November.
  11. NX350h F Sport with panoramic roof ordered end of Nov ‘21. After many revised delivery forecasts, I’ve just heard from Lexus Customer Relations that mine will be built in the September allocation. Looks like it’ll be 12 months from order to delivery if there are no more production halts.
  12. Thanks for all your experiences. I’m encouraged by the reports of dealers honouring the figures quoted on the order forms, lets just see what happens when I finally reach the front of the queue. I have my current NX booked in for an intermediate service this week and an MOT in September is unavoidable but I’m hoping not to require tyres.
  13. I’ve now had a NX350h F Sport on order since end of November ‘21. Every couple of months it gets delayed another couple of months. The latest forecast is mid September however the app still shows ‘order in progress’. In order to meet this date, the order should have progressed by now so I’m not holding much hope for mid September. Due to the price rises since placing my order, I’m wondering if the dealer will honour the price of the car and trade in as shown on the order form. I know that the latest price list has a clause regarding the price at build but I don’t believe this clause was present when I ordered. Has anyone had any issues with dealers not honouring the figures on their order form?
  14. Great news, hopefully mine will be on the line behind yours. I ordered an NX350h F Sport in Sonic Grey the day after you. The app is still showing the ‘Order in Progress’ stage. If it arrives in August, I’ll ask them to hold it until the new reg.
  15. I’m in the same situation. I ordered an NX350h F Sport in Nov 21, I had my test drive in January and was at that time given a forecast delivery of May. I’ve heard nothing from the dealership since other than a rather fancy flyer advertising the new NX. The app is still showing the ‘Order in Progress’ stage. Looks like I’ll not be using the 22 plate I bought from the DVLA and will be buying a 72 plate instead. All I can do is sit tight with the comfort that the agreed trade value for my current NX appears better and better as the months go by.
  16. Hello everyone, While patiently waiting for my NX350h to arrive, I thought I’d research dash cams and where to connect the permanent power supply. Rather than connecting to the back of a fuse on the fuse box, I’m thinking about using an OBD-II port adapter which will give me 2 USBs to power two Garmin Dash Cam Mini 2. It would be great however if Lexus has considered local power supplies in the new design. Does anyone know if the new NX has been fitted with power connection points (USB or 12VDC) the area of the rear view mirror and rear window? I know that a rear window power supply would have limited use as most dash cams with rear camera facility would need to run a data cable anyway.
  17. I’ve done this twice now. First time before any monthly payment and the second time after only one. No issues with either. Just contact LFS and request a settlement figure.
  18. Amusing but I see your problem and would find this equally annoying. When it is fitted on the NX there is an option to disable the sensor but obviously this defeats the object. I found a similar problem when washing the car with keys in pocket where the doors keep locking and unlocking. Once unlocked, I leave the key in the garage.
  19. No, the article is dated September 2017 and states that these updates will be available at the end of 2017.
  20. There’s an Autoexpress report from the European debut of the facelift NX at the Frankfurt Motor Show which mentions the kick sensor. Maybe an error or a decision to cut corners before it got to the showrooms.
  21. Hi all, I’ve had my 2018 NX Luxury for 3 months now and noticed that the electric tailgate does not have the kick to open sensor. Not a big problem but having paid for the convenience pack, it’s a bit odd that they make it slightly inconvenient. Do you only get the sensor on trim levels where the electric tailgate is standard?
  22. That’s true, I’ve had the car for 16 months and only ever had it out of auto mode when defrost/demisting. I only found this behaviour when I was ‘playing’ and thought I’d check it out.
  23. Many thanks to both of you for confirming that all is working as expected. Just in time for this weeks cold snap, I expect I’ll be using the directional button this week!
  24. Hi, thanks for your reply, that makes sense. I just assumed that if you select maximum, it would open up the stops to heat as quickly as possible. The output from the lower vent is not that strong even in the ‘HI’ mode.
