  1. :shifty: Jeremy Clarkson :driving: on Gordon Brown : Prime Minister Brown a "one-eyed Scottish idiot"

It's been widely reporterd that 'politicians reacted with outrage to the BBC presenter's remarks'

Where on earth did free speech really go ?

I can to some extent understand why some people would find this moderately offensive; however, the vast majority of the UK population do still have a sense of humour and appreciate the truth when it is presented to them. 'Politicians acted with outrage' : Give Me A :tsktsk: Break. After listening to politicians on occasion ( believe it or not a good PM's question time can be a hoot if you want to get away from the real world) A larger brigade of :shifty: lying, self gratifying, expense totting hypocrites have never gathered together in one place.

Personally speaking, if your big enough to put yourself up as an ‘unelected’ ( & probably totally unelectable) prime minister, try to scam the British tax paying, pension crippled private sector to believe you are personally responsible for all the good things that have happened in the UK over the last X years, & then take no responsibility what so ever when it all goes belly up, I find it difficult to see why like minded cronies would act with ‘outrage’ when their promises come back to haunt them, and somebody like JC speaks the truth.

Brown nosers outraged? Possibly, probably, where has my pension gone Mr Brown?? Why is yours index linked and final salary?? Ours isn’t!!!

So all I saying is: Bring back free speech, lock up the PC brigade, it’s gone far enough & Mr Teflon Brown it’s time to move over and let a good man in.

Jeremy Clarkson for Prime Minister I say!! What a refreshing change that would be!! The truth might hurt but at least it would be the truth!! Our children’s children will be paying for Browns lunacy and lack of vision for generations to come.

Hampster, deputy PM / Captain Slow, Chancellor & Stig, minister for roads transport and education. Education, why, lets get our offspring turned into petrol heads before its too late.

    End of todays sermon

Yours faithfully and true Clarkson Disciple and Top Gear addict.

    what a load of bo**ocks!!!!!

  2. it was originally the power for me,but then i solved that with a supercharger.I went to bmw as a result but never sold the car and im glad i havent. Its now standard again, but its the most reliable and by far the comfiest car i own.Every time we need to go shopping the family want to go in the IS200 and i have to agree cos its such a great lazy everyday car in town, especially with the auto box.Ive got an 02 plate IS200 and have no rattles whatsoever and no creaks, whereas with my 2002 M3 and 2005 M5 they creak and rattle as if they are going to fall apart. My lexus has 98k on it now and ill never sell it becuase its so good.

  3. Look forward to the pics of it looking nice and fresh Tom :D Clocks looking good to mate :D

Well there it is.. fully painted.. uploaded pictures on my profile gallery.. including dash, clock and aircon control bulb mods.. on the supercharger, ..well theres progress on the airbox,... one found, but waiting o see how much noise it will reduce it by.... am hoping to do the engine internals at the same time when the noise solution is found, then mapping, and then an even bigger smile on my face.. :winky:

On the noise Tom, Steve was saying 70%

  5. The police lied and then the public found out the truth-usual story. Its all been one big embarassing mistake for the Police that im sure they'd all rather forget. If they'd simply told the truth, perhaps the public wouldnt be so shocked by the latest revelations that everything the police said was contradictory to what the independent witnesses and the cctv revealed. That twit chief Ian blair left office mainly becuase of this catastrophic mistake and hopefully we'll all be safer as a result. The few things that have been understood from this tragedy are that the police have been part of some severe failures,19 in total i think, which is not surprising really, but the worst of all is that they are practically immune from prosecution when they put their useless marksmen to work. Basically meaning they can shoot any innocent person's son and then simply apologise for it and that should be the end of it. I dont care who stays in this country illegally -they are welcome!life and human beings are more important than borders and politics and if someone is killed and the police in any country attempt to cover it up,the truth should always be revealed.

  6. ay up chaps.looking for some help and advice in the area of the replacement of a heating system in a commercial building which is an eight roomed bungalow which is used daily as a GP surgery. looking for some advice for a cheap solution as its a rented building and we are begrudgingly replacing an extremely old system which is extremely inefficent and effectively broken(some of the radiators are completely broken). Bills are high and the staff are cold,so im looking for a quick cheap solution. The system in place is a 25 year old gas heating system which I have been told cannot be repaired as its so old they no longer supply parts for it.I know nothing about this sort of stuff so am looking for some pointers from those in the know with regards to the cost of replacing and installing such a system and generally hope you can provide me with some miracle advice.lol

can we opt for a heating solution that doesnt use gas?

  7. Racing cars on public roads is dangerous. I can't believe this thread is even staying up.

Would this from be the chap who once "forgot" to put on his seatbelt ?

Haha. Good one MATE. Thanks for the comment.

Thank YOU (and others) for making me realise how this forum is no longer what it used to be.

I'm gonna stay off LOC now (apparently accounts cannot be deleted). It's turned into a children's playground.

Fed up of personal comments, and from what I can see, I'm not the only one.

If you have a problem with ME, be man it enough to say it to my face.

Maneesh, why take it personally.I dont think anyone has a problem with you at all,i think it was purely your comment that sounded contradictory, especially to those that know you.Its just people enjoying their cars responsibly.
