ok bud what im about to say may not be what you want to hear but here goes.Dont do it unless youve got loads of money to spank for not alot of go.im not saying its a bad thing changing some of the bits youre suggesting like spark plugs,just dont expect any real power gains from zorst /induction as it can never be argued to be a good value solution when a person is concerned with extra power.a remap will simply change the behaviour of the needle across the rev range,it may increase mid range pull and can be a good idea but only when done by a reputable company that have a good track record in not making cars go pop.i can recommend someone if you want but they will most probably just talk you out of it anyways cos they are real tuners and would rather you saved your doe for something serious.please dont be optimistic and think you can get anything without an SC or TC youll just waste loads of cash and do what i did,go that route eventually and wonder why you didnt in the first place-trust me its a false economy.sorry to be so negative about it all.

to be fair mate,its a bit of a no hoper. as what could it possibly be replaced with,that could be argued to be better than the oem part in terms of looks?most of the after market gear knobs ive seen are pretty nasty.we have two IS200s,one with the silver knob and one with the leather lever as they are both different years.im not sure of the possible swap,but if it can be done then you are welcome to have the leather one and ill take your silver one.

yeah love that scene and ofcourse watched it once again.its just at some stage during the chase scene,they change the car from the original one shot earlier as they are getting into the parked car.its like they have two different cars.its badged as an M5 but is it really i wonder?it could have been an alpina B5 and rebadged.

we keep getting this kind of sales tactic used on us loads by Lexus Stoke,as every member in the family drives a lex and got them all from that one garage.They keep thinking weve got money to blow.If they didnt make their cars so good and reliable,perhaps we would be in the market for more Lexii,however the ones sat on the driveway still have many years left in em.

All B5 RS4s are avants.Rennsport philosophy at that time was that they wanted to hit the estate car market with the most powerful estate car in the world and they're still at it with the latest RS6 offering.If you stick a milltek exhaust and remap with power pulleys on a B5 RS4 you can easily increase the power from the cosworth tuned bi turbo V6 from an already healthy 375hp to 440hp.Its a beast that isnt that costly to tune,considering what you are getting.The only downfall of the RS4 in B5 or B7 form is that they are essentially big heavy under steering barges which fall apart in the real tricky twisty stuff and ofcourse the security of the 4wd eventually becomes mind numbingly boring after a month of hardcore driving.Ive recently had an A4 quattro and i couldnt wait to give it back to the garage.I was carrying some pretty high speeds into corners,but theres absolutely no feeling of driving the thing,its just too darn safe.

what rob said above.People spend months of effort,thousands of pounds and lots of sweat trying to tune their cars in order to squeeze more power,its almost insulting to suggest that this sort of device works.Dont get me wrong im not having a go at all,when i first started thinking about tuning i also naively looked down this road,but soon learnt that these types of companies prey on customers like yourself who have high hopes in achieving lots of power from not many £££££s.Drop this idea and get a decent exhaust and a supercharger and youll have one of the best setups on the market for an IS200.

from my understanding a few std golf GTis and std cupras take part in this event,so i think the SC IS would be a match for them.Id like to see Gords S4 and Daves SC IS350 also take part. BTW you ready to perform the surgery on the M3?
