NO NO NO.cant sell it, I put the for sale sign on the front screen. after about an hour someone had a look at it and offered me £2700. :o no, i did not smack him. Took the sign off . filled up the tank with fuel (not tesco) and off i go for a 120 mile drive , a27 is very quick in the evening. perfect. Back in peace now. CAR NOT FOR SALE...

many thanks for your help, i got a set of two from e bay £70 and i had to collect them from london 90 min drive. not too bad . When i got back i noticed the plastic lugs had been snapped off. so i had to strip both lights and make one complete . the worst part was removing the glass lens which has lots of sticky sealant. but went ok . If any body gets the chance to have some headlights , snap them up. Keep as spares. breakers are asking £100 + vat per side.

Hi, the lexus has to go. its n reg 1996 140k full history. very dark green/black colour If anybody has seen the wheeler dealers last year this is the car which was the mint example. 140k . i years mot 6 months tax. Drives like a dream, everything works and would welcome any inspection. It had a full service at 128k with cambelt change,last service at 138k. I will answer this myself. The large 50amp fuses are held in by 2x 8mm bolts, so will not pull out. I replaced this fuse but still no heater/cig lighter lcd display. After a bit look about i found a second fusebox in drivers footwell, which is not shown in owners manual. Replaced 2 15amp fuses which had blown. Job done.

Yes i agree, i can tell it ifs off by the gear change I leave it on all the time .If i am going to overtake the revs will stay on longer and keep the power on

Hi all. lexus ls400 1996 My fan /clock and cig lighter have all stopped working. I have checked all fuses and one 50amp fuse on left side of fuse box has blown, The question is how do you remove the fuse , it will not pull out. any ideas? Regards

You can buy them on cd rom from e bay. I got a ford tis from there and is was very good as you could just print the pages you need and it will not matter if they get dirty or greasy.

I change my insurance company every year between tesco/more than and this year its elephant also i find that more than will do you an on line quote then a day later e-mail you a better deal. I pay £420 fully comp at 33 years old 6 years no claims and 3 points (which i got in a daewoo ) always best to a have shop around as you all know. my 1996 cold 1000rpm hot 200rpm and not lumpy ie smooth as a nut my 96 the same as yours, but mine at hot is more like 300rpm, very very quite
