  3. Hi Thanks for the advice but after been nagged by my wife to take the car in to dealers in they did a test and said their was a leak from the windscreen into the dashboard where water was dripping and had collated under the dashboard. They took off the windscreen and dried out the water, then changed the windscreen seal and bonded it. All was fine and well and they put back the old relay. I have a relay spare as I am stuck with it now. Their conclusion was their was water dripping onto the curcuit of the headlight which was cusing a short all the way to the fusebox and the headlights, so if this happens to anyone it could be this rather than the relay. once again thanks
  4. Hi Please can someone help me, I have a is200 sport year 2000 and just a few days ago when I switch off the car everything goes off as normal. After a short while the front headlights come on and no matter what I do won't go off. In the fuse box their is a loud buzzing sound and looking at some topics it is coming from the HL relay. When I pull it out the the buzzing stops, I have tried putting it back in but it just continues buzzing loudly. I ordered a new HL relay which arrived this morning and replaced it but the buzzing sound continues. I have taken the relay out again but please can someone help Can I go without this relay as the lights still come on manually aslong as I do not put them on auto or is it dangerous without the relay. Many Thanks
