I probably over clean my car anyway, only use soapy water on my wheels. The offset thing scares me a little, I have got prices from a shop and hoping they will just sort it out for me.

In my opinion EBC are cr@p! had them on a previous car and ended up putting OEM's back on. Im currently using Mintex Xtreme Pads with Prolex Grooved/Dimpled discs and loving them, before that I had standard Mintex pads and couldnt find any faults with those, highly recomend!

Hi, Im thinking about getting some new wheels, I keep heading towards KEI RSS 17" wheels http://www.topgear.co.uk/acatalog/4x_17_In...th_Federal_.php Just seeing if anybody has any feedback on them? I dont want them to do the Lex thing and start corroding after a couple of years. Thanks Aaron

Ok seem to be seeing loads of Lex at the moment, which is always a pleasure. Harlow @ Halfords I parked right in front of you as you was leaving. Black IS200 W reg, I noticed a big exhaust, Carbon Bonnet, TRD Bucket seats, TRD badge on the rear. Then on my return home i see a green-ish IS200 going into Harlow from M11 roundabout, it looked lowered.

Most mornings I see a Black GS/Aristo with heavy tinted windows all round, looks good!

We need some more, we have run out here I live in the country 4 miles from a major road and I had the best drive to work yesturday, I never drive with TRC or SNOW on, all I got is my Nokian WR winter tyres which are into there 3rd season, I didnt have any real issues on the way to work, ok i went up a hill a little sideways but thats about it, so long as your prepared its gonna take longer enjoy it, my work journey normally takes 20mins, yesturday it took 45mins. My Lex is an IS200 Sport so i got the LSD also its lowered, what suspension is better for snow conditions? Standard softer or lower stiffer? I know lower can be bad for getting bogged down in deeper areas. I think i wanna move to Sweden :D

You can buy yourself out of a contract. I have been with AOL since dial up then moved over to Broadband so about 10years, alot of people dont like AOL i have never had any issues, one time when my connection failed i got onto the phone and it was fixed after a week, report come back that there was a problem at the exchange, I had a BT engineer come out to check it all out.

I think the lack of traction is a car with skiddy bits behind it light, im pretty sure I have had mine do this ages ago all i did was went on a bit of dirt and with the Traction Control off did a little wheel spin and it sorted it, for me anyway. I normally drive with TRC off anyway as i hate the way the car takes the throttle away when pulling out of junctions onto fast roads.

I had a rear shock changed on my first service, 2 weeks before i got it lowered...I dont have records of the shocks being changed before me...does not mean it wasnt done tho'

I have had SPAX springs fitted to mine for 3 years, no prob's with shocks or springs, everything is still good, they have not sunk either people reported this with other cars. my car is a T ('99) with 135k
