Just found out my car has the Super Live Sound System with the external amp in behind the glovebox. Sounds really good but have one question... I know it's a really big long shot but I don't suppose there's any RCA outputs anywhere that I could connect another amp to for a sub. I took the sub out of my old car when I was selling it & was gonna put it into the 'Tezza but don't want to change the headunit if possible...

Hey peops, just picked up my Altezza yesterday (at last :duh: ). Problem is it doesn't seem to be playing MiniDiscs, it acts like it's playing, titles come up & it goes from track to track but there's just no sound coming out:( Any1 any ideas????? Cheers ;)

Sounds like a problem my mate had with his Skyline. Basically your car is made to run on 100 RON (octane) fuel and over here you're running it on 95, so what happens is that your ecu sensing this crap fuel retards your ignition timing which is why you've your flat spot... If you try finding Super Unleaded 97/98 RON (very rare over here now!) or get a tin of good octane booster & just see if that makes any difference ;)

In tests a while back the Apexi Power Intake came out on top for quality of filtration & for air flow. Cheapest place to buy is http://www.takakaira.com or http://www.nengun.com No mate, just fit & drive. Easy-peasy! Hope this helps ;)

But I also saw on that site a Greddy turbo kit for the Altezza for €1400 euro...€1700 + duty delivered...seems very good value Haha, saw that one myself! Got me very tempted lol Just need my f'ing car, if it ever arrives! lol With Nengun there is a chance of getting stung for customs, have had a few things come through tho with no probs. Takakaira on the other hand you never get stung because when you buy something & it gets held by customs there is a "lower priced" invoice that you can print off saying that it is a replacement part & is only worth something like €20 :D

Power FC & Commander is the dog's danglies! A few of my mates run them in various cars & absolutley love them! The cheapest (reliable) place to buy them is Nengun who have them on special at the moment... There 2 versions, 1's for if your running the Apexi Turbo kit :duh: lol

lol same here, still waiting If I was you I'd just buy them off Takakaira. Every part on my last car bar the alarm & wheels were bought off that site. Very cheap & reliable! Plus never any problems with customs unlike with other places :D

ATF levels are usually checked with the engine running. Not too sure on the Altezza's (cause mines still on a ship lol) but on some cars they have a position on the dipstick for when the gearbox is cold (20 degrees) & when it's hot (80 degrees).... So I'd drive it then check while engine is still running....

I'm afraid as you said, they're too good to be true... Not worth a :tsktsk:! lol They've been tested & showed no difference to the fuel what so ever, just someone trying to make a quick buck out of naeve people :(
