Mine is a 2000w and the dealer told me 1 press locks, 2 press deadlocks and it does sound as though it deadlocks on the 2nd press, but I get 5 flashes. ?

Not sure if this helps but ................ ........Over the past 2 weeks I have 2 occations when my local dealer has lent me a 250 now baring in mind that this is a) courtesy car (which probably means it getting thrashed) B.) I only ever get it with qtr of a tank and c) I can only go off what the display says. The details are : 1st time showing MPG as 31ish with ave tank being 29ish 2nd time showing MPG as 29ish with ave tank being 25ish :)

Ask the dealer if they can arrange for an IS250, I have just had one for a few days from Lexus Teesside as mine was getting a few bits done. It was very very nice.

Hi Mark, your spot on it is a fantastic forum, I have only been a user and IS owner for 6 weeks and the advice has been 1st class, so we are in good company. I think you'll find, although someone will say for definate, that you will need to produce the card to the dealer in order to get the discount, you I think also to need to tell them when you book it in, although i'm unsure why ? :D

You could send them over to the UK by armed guard in a hired limo get them reconed with 9ct gold and fly them back in a private jet for less ! :D :D I could probably buy a first year IS200 for that money in the UK if I looked hard enough. I can get them refurbed for a lot less but I realy like the diamond cut parts which are lost in any refurb. I should know tomorrow if they can do anything based on the original warrantee. Anyone know what was the story with this. What years were included in the replacements. If not covered by warrenty, just goto a reputable restorer. The wife kerbed the alloys I bought for her Focus 2 weeks after fitting, so I gave up. Let them detriate to a shocking state,but then got them referbed after 2 or so years and the came back like brand new and only cost £140 for 4 :)

The CD is fine (ie no scratches) not sure of the version as unforunaly when I bought the car it had a copied version in the player. I have had the Cd out and checked it. It does seem to happen when it's planned a route and lets say you know the basic route so close it so not to get the voice, then when you open it your somewhere else !

It's not that the road doesnt exsist, it just loads position I was on the A66 in cumbria last week then in Hawes and it showed me elsewhere !!! :duh: Any idea, what the latest version is ?

Morning All, I have the CD based Sat Nav, but every now and again, it gets lost :duh: :duh: , you can be travelling down a road and the next minute your somewhere miles away. Even if you stop the car, turn off the engine it doesn't put you back in the right place, however if you stop somewhere for lunch say an hour them it's back to normal when you switch it back on ?? IS there a way of reseting the whole unit ? Thanks

Sam, I have had my IS200(SE NAV AUTO) 5 or so weeks and its fab, I was a bit worried on Tuesday as my car went in for 3 new tyres (back to dealer) and they lent me a new IS250 and it was superb, the real dogs bollards, and I thought oh no whats it going to be like when I get back in my 200 but when I picked my car up this morning I thought na this is still an awsome car and handles like a dream, the 250 was quick , but I think the 200 feels like a firmer motor, having said that the 250 will still be on my wish list when I come to upgrade in a few years, but for now I am still loving the 200. Enjoy it............. and 1 tip, find the cheapest petrol station, you will be there alot. :D :D , mind you even the bad MPG is worth it :) :) :) :) :)

No, sorry dont know how old they are but they have plenty of tread on them 4 or 5 mm !

Morning All I have had my IS for 5 weeks and at the weekend got a puncture in the side wall of my rear tyre. So put the spare on and hot footed it t ATS. They check the other tyres which had all had plenty of tread on. However 2 of the tyres had cracking all the way round in the tread where the tyre wear markers are. So I took it back to the dealer who have taken the tyres off and are sending them to Bridgestone to have them checked out. If Bridgestone say that they are OK then I will be paying 50% of the cost for 2 new tyres. The question is has anybody had anything similar. ? Thanks

Hi 710 I have just had mine repaired by Autosounds, they are in Bradford (west Yorkshire) and thats where all the Lexus dealers (in the UK) send the stereos for repair, atleast according to my Lexus dealer who were paying for the repair. (warranty) also worth saying mine had the slot at the top! They said they have completely replaced the internals, although due to volume of work it did take the 5½ weeks.

On the VIN plate Open the bonnet, look on the back bulkhead under the windscreen, there will be a stamped metal plate with all the details Ian Cheers Ian

He may not be far from the truth. In the US it is generally considered to be the kiss of death to a luxury car if the boot (or trunk!) won't hold 2 sets of golf clubs. So Lexus probably did make sure they fitted. I'll just go and sit in the corner and be quite then :D :D

Afternoon All, Question is, is there a way to reset the satnav, whilst it's in use ? The poblem is occational, I have the Lexus Sat Nav and sometimes when driving and I want to enter destination, not all of the options are available (i.e. not blue on screen) for example when I want to put an address in it only shows the HOME button as blue, or I might be able to get a city but then when it comes to the street none of the letters are available to select. It's annoying. Does anybody know why it happens or does anybody else suffer a similar problem ? and if so what's the fix. Also today it completely forgot where I was I was driving along the next thing according to the screen I was in the middle of a field *** knows where. When I got home I had to re-calibrate ?????
