hmmm, just got my new shape rx300 se-l serviced, they gave me a rx400-h courtesy car. loved it. i heard theres a £180 sat nav upgrade- will it make my screen look like the 400's, which i really preferred? (both uk cars). it was much clearer. i regularily go to a building 1mile south of the m27. the nav routes me along the m27 and then announces "you have reached your destination, guidance will now end" as i am doing 70 mph, miles from a motorway exit. the site i want to get to is not new. will the nav upgrade fix this? i know my way without nav (pretty much), its just annoying. couple of other q's, can someone confirm that the nav codes don't work on uk cars? (enter address in motion). ive been playing with the USA codes for ages. i also want bluetooth- can it be retrofitted? anyone have a list of CBEST / C-BEST codes that work on uk 300's (v2) ? i would like doors to auto lock with key in ignition. otherwise i love the car. ive had no air suspension problems (leaning etc.) has anyone upgraded from a rx300 v2 to a rx400-h ? was it worth it? can you do nav in motion on the 400's? sorry for all the q's. ive searched here for the info, but think the topics could do with an update. thanks andy

im pretty sure from searching google the sc wheel is 18x8 lexus sc430 wheels 5x114 bolt pattern offset 45 235/45/18 tires 2000 RX300 Tires: Michelin LTX M/S size 225/70/16 with some tread left. Wheels: original Lexus silver color OEM aluminum alloy wheels size: 16" x 6.5" 5-spokes, 5 lug, 4-1/2 bolt pattern(115mm), Offset:35mm. i dont know, but i THINK so. 10mm doesnt seem much anyone else?

you need a valeter who has a mop.they can remove a thin layer of paint to expose the nice stuff underneath. it will cost £50 and as long as the paint is not burnt, it will be quick. look in yellow pages, find one near you and see what they say. they are the paint professionals :winky:

there are short range FM transmitters (available on ebay for ipods etc) that would do the sound. i'm trying to work out how to fit a Freeview box (probably the one on ebay that says stable image tested at 200km/h) into my rx300 se-l, so its good to know the camera wont be affected. have you decided what input to go with? [edit]plus, using a FM transmitter you'd still recieve the audio directions from the sat nav.

i thought only the se-l had reversing camera ???

tracker echo is good as well, its what jeremy clarkson(top gear) has on his gt40. you have to keep a radio credit card in your wallet, so even if someone takes your car with the keys tracker still know.(without you having to report it stolen) they then call you/text message you.
