those that had the mod done what milage had your car done? mine's done 2500 miles and getting worse i think lexus told me the mod is not recommended for cars with less than 10k on the clock.

Did anything come of the jap market sunglasses holder mentioned in a previous post and pictured here http://lexus.jp/models/is/spec/accessory/interior.html if not does anyone have the part number i have no use for an ashtray better still does anyone do an ipod holder that fist the space (wish list)

Thanks mart but i was ideally looking for a photo so i could see whether the pioneer mbus adapter fits the lexus mm system so that i could use the pioneer ipod adapter.

1)Hi has anyone removed their mm system from the dash yet? i would like to connect an ipod adapter that controls the ipod i had one in my old car (citroen Picasso :D ). 2)Is the head unit just a pioneer head unit? if so would pioneers cd-ib100 adapter connect and work. 3) does anyone have any links to pictures showing the rear connections on the new is mm system? many thanks

The proof will be to try at 70mph in 6th...it's worst then.... Does 65 in 5th count? It used to be a problem at all road speeds for me, and this has seriously improved things. Shame I wasn't really paying attention to how I moved it - just random wiggling (which I'm sure should normally only be carried out in the back seat..). I ahve the vibrating mirror too. i'll try to adjust it tonight. thanks for the tip! I have noticed this too will try random wiggling 2moro! :winky:

I have had my first distance drive in my new IS today and noticed the rear view mirror vibrates badly between 1-2000 revs does anyone else have this problem or do i have to take it to be fixed? It's bad enough to need to check the wing mirrors to confirm it's safe to overtake. Other than this my only other quible was a lose gear knob which i tightened up myself and an inability for the car to remain clean!!! should have had a lighter colour i think!!

Well i picked my car up yesterday and so far i am impressed. no rattles (so far) i have managed to transfer phone book one by one, my phone auto pairs every time (nokia 6230) does anyone have any tips foraa new owner?

Well it's now less than 2 weeks to go until i pick up my IS220D with multimedia i have a few days off work and want to do some wma cd's i have a couple of questions. 1) Can the MM system read cd-rw's? 2) I have written the wma's at 192kbps will this play ok 3) Does the system display ID3 tags? 4) Can the MM System handle folders? I ordered a is220d se with mm a week ago and was told end of sept, then got a call from my dealer one in the spec i wanted was going to lexus gb now its not hee hee. Only 2 weeks to wait!!! :P

I ordered mine this friday (21st April) just dropped lucky the car i wanted was destined for lexus gb and the sales manager managed to divert it to me delivery 11th may. less than 3 weeks wait bonus!! (220d se Cadoxton slate and black leather interior and mm)
