With my IS250 SE with MM finally due in next week or so I have just been sorting out insurance...one word of warning from my experience; if you have the MM pack make sure that this is going to be fully covered if taking fully comp - I was going to go with one insurer but when asked them to confirm in writing this was covered they called me back to say they now realised that as this is factory 'option' cover limit on this is just £300!!

My delivery time seems similar to Tailpipe although perhaps slightly longer... Originally ordered 250SE Canterbury Blue with Pembroke Black leather MM and sunroof in early April. Given delivery date sometime in August (so say 4.5 months). However wife and I reconsidered interior and decided to switch to Sussex Grey...at which point we nwere sent to back of the queue. This was week 1 in June and am now expecting delivery late October/early November: so 4.5 to 5.5 months from date of revised order.

Is that by any chance a metallic black? I certainly hope so as its about time Lexus offered black as a metallic colour I will be interested to see if remains at 'just' 16 weeks. my SE with MM and sunroof ordered early June when was told to expect early October (so approx 18 weeks) in recent update told showing as late October/November so up to 21+ weeks!!

When trying to decide between BMW, SAAB, Mercedes, Audi and Lexus put in something like 'Lexus Reviews' or 'Lexus problems' on google and on 2nd / 3rd page of the results was link to Lexus Owners club USA...from there got to the UK section. Definitely worthwhile experience as have now ordered my 250SE with delivery date sometime in the summer (I hope). :)
