Oh one more thing to mention, all these posts are created with software and posted as a bot. they posted 165 posts in a very short period, but we ban with one click, unfortunately, there was a lot of emails sent out.  😞

One of the mods did spot this first thing this morning. It's very difficult to identify these posts automatically. We do have other meaures in place such as members outside the UK registering but they are using fresh gmail accounts and VPN ip addresses that show them from the UK, but looking at their timezone they are from Lagos.

Trust me we do filter a lot of stuff and usually posts are filtered to new members, but the clever part is they post non scammy information to bypass the new post limits, so they get through. We don't want to try and inspect every post as many members are legit, it's just the new members we inspect the first few posts.

Last 7 days we have cleaned over 1000 attempted spammy sign-ups and 107 were allowed, you can see the level we have to deal with.
Colin is like lightning when it comes to banning them out. 

if the emails are too much you can reduce them to once every 24 hours and you can get a digest of the day.

scammers are everywhere on FB.. totally stop buying from there unless its local

i used to manufactuer ring marks from where they drop the front and rear windows in with robotic suction cups.

edit, looking at yours thats too small for that

also great for kids, ask them the most craziest thing they can imagine, then it comes to life.. they are totally amazed

i have used this for various things which helps gets round copyright laws... can even make logos.. or at least give  inspiration on projects.. very handy

insurance quotes are high on the RX when i checked.

On another note, if it helps some who own the RX or other models liable to be stolen, I came across the new Nextbase smart dash cams that connect to the cloud and film front and back and cockpit and send video to the cloud.  Has loads of other notification features so if someone is dicking around you may get a notification. I am considering getting one for that extra level of protection.

sounds like servo has lost vacuum

once car starts it will have vacuum, but obvously you cannot.

if you do manage to start and it does it again then probably leak in servo etc.

partsouq are good... they are dubai based i think but they were quick at delivery and much cheaper for oem parts. had the part within 4 days

however, i would give Lexus Parts Direct a try first as i have also had good deal for parts as well, not always but worth checking first. 

Only thing i guess that may be an issue is if ordering outside UK for expensive items is the good old customs will get their greasy mits on it.

toyota do the same.. they like selling it, especially on the diesels

MAF can be dirty so giving wrong reading. get some isopropyl in a can, take out MAF and give the small wire inside a good squirt of this. try not to fiddle with the sensor too much but isopropyl clean will do it wonders. When the wire looks clean, pop back in. This is a cheap way to see if it is MAF.. Clean mine every couple of years.

Basically Lexus have more than likely called it that so it reminds you that by servicing it with your dealer that you actually get the warranty. And by doing so activates it. Clever tactic so you don't skip.

Sorry to hear about your Lexus being stolen. 

Unless you have a tracker installed then there is no way of tracing it apart from the police tracking it through ANPR.

Thieves would sometimes leave the car parked somewhere to check there is no tracker installed and come back after a few days. However, not a lot of people add trackers unless they have a very expensive car that are quite commonly stolen.

Only thing you can do is hope the police have found it.

Today i'll mainly be moaning about... Lane filtering. 

Why is it that someone has to squeeze you out of your lane filter ... that makes my blood boil.

Last week a van in front of me was squeezed and he did not budge so they clipped each other, the van then turned off so the person who squeezed forfeited damage because of their selfishness. Made me chuckle and big lesson learnt.
