  1. I had an IS200 SE for about 18 months (now gone)... The side skirts and body kit were all standard on the last few of the old shape (prior to the new IS), so mine looked like a sport, had full leather, Sat-Nav, electric seats etc but did not have an LSD... I presume that the TRD stickers are just that Lexus UK forgot to remove them! Seems expensive to me that care - mine was a 05 and would only have been about 1k more at the garage (though I have no idea on the value of sports models)
  2. I also have full leather on my 05 is200se....
  3. I average just under 400 miles per tank - approximately 35miles of motorway and 10 of city driving each way.... This is despite a reasonably light right foot when pottering home. Still dreaming of the 700 miles per tank I use to get out on 320d despite being fairly heavy footed most of the time... Back to the black-stuff soon I guess!
  4. I use the Lexus OEM clamp roof bars on my IS200 - no problem, but you do have to make sure they are firmly clamped down. I've had kayaks on the roof without a problem (which has the wind resistance of a small house).... Only down sides is that they do make the car noiser and I still don't feel that they are as secure is those on my BMW or Golf previously - but to date this has not been born out by experience.
  5. I've had problems with Lexus returning phone calls - was after quotes on the value on my IS200, went to 2 dealers who said they would call back and never did. I've also phoned for service and never been called back etc... After the servicing problems (including being lied to) I emailed the dealer principle and got a phone call back the next day. I think he was apologising, but could have been wrong as I felt he was very aggressive on the phone defending actions of the dealer (I resented it being made out that the reason that there was no courtesy car (necessary as dealer opens at 8 and closes at 5 and I work 8-6) was my fault and that I couldn't expect them to have cars available - I feel that that is their problem not mine)
  6. Needs to be a diesel next time round due to cost of fuel etc!! And until Lexus get their act together and make an auto diesel I shall to look elsewhere!! So it looks like BMW/Audi/Volvo for me then
  7. Hi... My first post here, but have been monitoring the forum for a while!! Anyhow, due to doing 25k a year and needing an estate car, I am reluctantly looking at selling my Lexus.. Can anybody give me a rough value of a - May 2005, IS200 SE (SatNav), auto with full body kit with 25K on the clock, has colour coded rear park sensors + bluetooth phone kit fitted... I'll miss it loads, but really need a diesel as I need better than 28MPG (driving gently) with the cost of fuel.. Unfortunately a new IS220d is not an option!! Many thanks DJR
