was abit unsure myself. have just changed from a manual is250 se-l to a is250 sport auto..and it is really smooth. would recommend.

hi m8..this is what i use: http://www.alloywheelwax.co.uk/. just after washing and wheels are dry,apply it on, let it go to a haze then buff off. easier to wash next time too..works a treat :)

ya megan and leanne dealt with my previous car..initially started with dave the service manager who i must say is excellent. bought the car from ben..know a few ppl in that dealership as they were in cov before

ya tell us more bout the recall and the shim kit...will want the dealer to sort out the probs on my car if it does exist..

was there anythin wrong that u noticed with ur steering rack? why is there a recall do u know? u dont use lex leicester i take it? dave1..did u alwys have a gs430??

do u mean the one on the side of the car above wheel arch or hte ones next to the grille? if next to grille its really hard. scraped my skin when changed mine to whiter bulbs...

if u bought as an xtra after ur car was delivered im sure warranty will just be 1year...but im guessing if it came with the car, the warranty would be the standard 3 years....

hmm got my hoshis last feb..done around 8k miles or bit more, andstill look brand spanking new! do you treat yours? i treat them with alloy wax after every wash...

Looks nice mate, is that now your third one? Perhaps the autolock has been switched off? Does the sport feel any different to the SE-L? I wouldn't have let them get away with the wheels like that though, would've got a set of the standard 17s off ebay and p/exd your car with those (keeping the 18s in the garage) - that way you could either sell one of the sets of 18s on, or have two sets to swap whenever you feel like a change :) hmmm..good idea. didnt think bout that. :) na it diesnt feel different coz its a sport. think its more cosmetic than technical. only diff is the auto now..which is real nice n smooth. ya 3rd..wife has said i cant have another for a while now. lol thx mate :)

its artic pearl basically metallic white....think the the caspian sky is real light light blue :) also shudnt the car autolock? thot that came with 08 cars..mine has the new seats n the fuelcap/boot release side byside etc etc...

ya mate..i paid for those wheels when i upgraded to 18s from 17s on my previous car..and also think they look better than the OEM sport 18s..thanks :) it drives nicer..the auto is so smooth. only done 4.5k miles. swapped the wheels n also took my k&n filter from the other car to this one.

pretty much about it on the 2008 MY vs older ones..unless u got a SE-L or sport..then also the kick plates are illuminate in white as opposed to blue

just to confirm, and im pretty sure this is the case, the new dvd does NOT offer a new park assist system. just updates the firmware, allowing you to use sat nav on the go.

is july08 when ur car was registered? or built? and if u say built..how do u know? coz im thinkin of getting a newer one to mine which is currently a 56 plate. I know they had a mid "facelift" when they changed the backs of the seats to the softer pocket, which lights on the kick plates, the fuelcap/boot lid button side by side etc etc..

tango..on that lexustsb.com website, theres 2WD and 4WD on them...they just available in the states? didnt know they had diff options for the is250.. also do you know what the engine in the 250 is called? is it the 2GR-FSE?

some say anew seat-belt housing cures this?

ah ok..cheers..couldnt find anything on their official leaflets which stated lower suspension. but i think the suspension on sport models in states is lower? or is that not the case?
