    Does anyone know much about the sat van computer in the boot of the lexus. like i.e how it works? is there software to update the computer? or any information. my sat nav doesnt get a gps signal and i dont know why. does anyone know what could be the problem? iv tried purchasing a new gps arial but still no joy does anyone have a lexus computer for sale?

    its all sorted reset ecu and car seems fine now. cheers

    i have been out all day so not had the chance to reset it.but i will doit tommorow evening and let everyone know what the outcome is. hopefully its all good

    cheers for help everybody, ive bought a coil from a scrappy it feels fine now, the engine management light still on and trc light is still flashing. any ideas or do i just need to rest it?

    i have just found its number two coil that is dead. Mat did you say you had some? is it easy to fit? how much am i looking at for fitting or can i do it myself. I went to a local garage and the guy was very helpfull and didnt charge me arm and leg.

    i changed the sparks about 3 months ago done about 2000 miles in them. ***** so im going to have to take it to lexus, they charge £100 an hour dont they. is ther any way i can check myself? where abouts are you mat? i am near liverpool

    Does the car judder and feel like its back firing and going to cut out?? yes, is it going to be an expensive fix? ive just spent a load of money getting my scrates and ***** removed from my body.

    still no joy the light went off and now its back on, it sound like a suburo feels like there is no power.

    im going to try resseting the ecu, just got it back from the garage after bonnet respray and it started happening. whats the coil pack ??

    I have just started my car and it seems to be less powerfull, the engine mangement light on and TRC light is flashing. it feels like its going to cut out or not running properly. any one know what this could be? it is a is200se 99

    any one have any ideas on how to get a GPS signal on the sat nav is 200se? ive installed a new GPS antenna. is there anything else or has anyone diagram for the sat nav. its the cd version.

    Anyone have any ideas why my sat nav doesnt pic up a gps signal. ive tried a new gps reciever and plugged into the boot computer but still no luck. its a 1999 v plate so i asume its a cd based sat nav. could it be the computer in boot or is there any other gps recievers i need to check. this is really bugging me someone please helppppp cheers

    does anyone now the part number for the ribbon at the back of the sat nav display as mine has started to go funny colours. also has anyone any idea where i can get a sat nav unit that goes in the boot as mine is faulty and doesnt pick up gps. thanks

    I have a v99 plate lexus, im having problems with the sat nav, it doesnt pick up a gps signal and gets lost when im in a car park. ive tried with a new gps antenna but still no gps signal. any one got any idea;s i think its a cd based one. thanks

    cheers i think maybe there should be a documents section or somet on the site to access all this info, as the search brings back to much. is there not a option in admin area of forum setup to setup a documents area. if admins need web space for this give me a shout i maybe able to help.

    what about if i want to leave the oem amp in there, can i just connect up my new unit into the iso connectors?
