looks good. i personally think you need the oem graphics put back round the heater controls tho. i done all the interior trim and some bits on the outside of my BM.

if i remember you have to take the handbrake off dont you to get the rear discs off? not physically take the handbrake off just push the handle down!! lol

I've got some brand new, still in the wrapping, rear shocks. I bought them for my is200 but I ended up fitting coilovers. Anyways. Send me a pm if ur intrested. Cheers Neil

Well chaps its finally happened. picked my new car up a couple of weeks ago. done a few little bits to it. ive done the dash and pieces of the interior in 3m carbon fibre and also the front kidney grills. i replaced the side grills with black grills. there a few other bits i intend to do. i recieved some depo darkened front indicators but they dont fit so i have to wait till they send the right ones. going to put a csl rear splitter on it and add a dvd player in the near future. i was a bit sad to see the lexus go but i had it quite a few years with it. six infact. im sure the new owner will be signing up soon. still going to keep my eye on what you guys are up to and maybe help some people out! thats if you dont mind a german car owner on here!! lol

Hi. after having the front window fitted i lost the roof trims that sit in the gutters. tried to claim off the window company but they were having none of it. so now i have to purchase some seeing as im selling the car. id prefer in black, but any colour really as il just have them sprayed. id probably need to collect these as i wouldnt want them damaged, so not too far away from kent really. can you guys let me know if you have a set or if you know where i can get them from. cheers neil

its funny cos there is an m3 convertable for £6999 on ebay that is in munich at the moment. same thing!! they will ship back. are they using a company called wtt shipping to bring the car to you? i told the women, no way. il drive to munich and collect the car!! havent heard back from her!! funny aye!!

im with the "budgets are ok" people. i used to have kumho ecsta tyres on my lexus before the yokohama parada's ive got now. i found them to be a really good tyre. the only reason i changed was because i like the pattern of the parada's. the parada's are actually worse because they are quite a loud tyre and increase road noise. you can say "there the only 4 bits touching the ground" but theres plenty of other bits on the way to the ground from you! if your concentrating on the road and looking for things ahead of you then you shouldnt need to brake as hard. you corner the car as best it can do with what youve got. if youve got super duper tyres then maybe you can go that bit quicker, but your probably breaking the speed limit to do that anyway!! and as someone has said. there probably made by the same people that make the expensive tyres!!

when you say turn lights, u mean indicators? the indicators/turn lights are still in the same position. but there are 2 bulbs instead of one. u may want to put an extra plug in to connect the second bulb up but im just using the top bulb. the headlights work exactly the same as the standard ones. main beam is the outer and the high beam is the inner light. the angel lights and lower leds work as the sidelights. guys these headlights are a pain when it comes to mot and you have to change them, but i reckon they look the nuts and everyone comments on them.

me thinks you need to spray the front wing too when you do the bonnet and bumper. looks like its had a respray and not matched up properly. thats the trouble with silver. always stands out.

how do u mean? yeah its changed a bit since then. i dont have them headlights anymore, ive got projectors and angel eye headlights. also the wheels are black and a tte front bumper.

to be honest i think they look too big for the cap. need to make them a bit smaller. give me a pm if you need smaller ones.

i have a blueflame exhaust on mine with a straight pipe instead of the cat. passes emissions fine without a cat. sounds great but can get a bit loud when u have a long run on the motorway.

Hi Guys. well i thought id let everyone know im selling the lexus. its not going till next month till i get my new car. things have changed a bit and ive found a bit of extra cash. so ive got my heart set on an e46 m3 convertible. ive always wanted one so i thought why not. im only young once!!! lol im sure il still pop my head in once in a while. its a great community and im glad ive been a part of it. hopefully il still see my lexus as a friend of mine who lives a few doors up has said he wants to buy the car. he is a forum user so im sure he will sign up once he has bought it. be gentle!! lol thank you all for making me feel very welcome and i hope ive helped people in the past. oh and if people still need graphics i will still be able to help even tho im not a lexus owner!! lol. just thought id add that!! that vinyl is called 3m di-noc carbon fibre. did you pay the £35 delivery charge? if you didnt then that was a pretty good price. with regards to the heater controls. you cant put the vinyl over the top of the numbers because they are illuminated. i have a vinyl plotter so i can transfer the design on to the pc and have the plotter cut it all out for me. once ive bought the carbon film i will sort out the cut file and il be able to do other peoples if they want me to. the 3m film is a cast film so very plyable. it has no memory so wont revert back to its flat state after time!! you can screw the film into a ball then flatten it back out with some heat and still use it. get yourself a heat gun and start wrapping. how much did you pay for 10 metres stav?

you need a silicone bend as it wont make a seal round the intake with alloy!!

looks ok. is it the 3m di noc? could you not remove the vents in the top tray? i think you really need to do the heater controls and also the gear surround panel. going to do mine soon with the 3m film. im probably going to do the opposite parts tho. im going to do the parts surrounding the bits you have done, the gold parts. i really hate the colour of them. and il probably do the parts you done in silver.
