  1. ul need a 90 degree silicone bend to connect to the intake. as the intake points up towards the bonnet so u will have to direct it towards the front of the car.
  2. cool. might ask the girlfriend to buy it for my birthday. lol
  3. where have you seen it for £69? ive just found a lead on us ebay but thats £70. lol
  4. yeah mine failed the mot with only 4 studs!!
  5. just had a look on ebay. looks the nuts. not sure if its worth all that money for me tho. £144 for the device then £23 for the app. might buy it when ive got a few spare pennies i dont need. can u use a lead instead of wireless?
  6. happened to me. drove the car for months with only 4 studs!! there pretty easy to break these studs doesnt give you much confidence in them!!! lol
  7. ive got them running on a alpine v12 amp. not sure what one it is. its a 4 channel and it supplies front and rear speakers. think its about 75watts a channel or something. lol. i used to know all the specs on the gear i had but im not so much into it now. going to whip the speakers out today if the weather is better. ive got another set of kenwood components i might put in today instead of the lower powered components i have in the front. im not good with setting on the amp. i just turn the knobs till it kinda sounds right. lol
  8. yeah i thought about just having front speakers but i do like to have an all-round sound if you know what i mean. ive already put uprated kenwood speakers in the front. i might pull the 7x10s out tommorow and see what its like. il probably take them out and leave it for a while.
  9. hey. well im starting to get a bit fed up with the speakers i have on the rear shelf. there pretty crap and dont sound that great. they fuzz a bit at high volume and cant really take the power from the amp. they are kenwood 7x10's. im looking for something similar but that can take a bit of power into them. anyone got any recommendations?
  10. the missus cleaned my pipes the other night!! dunno what she used but it felt great!! :D
  11. or i could wrap it in 3m di-noc carbon fibre!! lol would be pretty expensive tho!!!
  12. ive got 2 auto acoustic lexus sub boxes. left and right. they are made for the IS and fit in the 2 openings behind the wheel arches. i dont know if you can still buy them. i think you can but i bought mine second hand from members on here. think i paid £100 each box. its not the most earth shattering bass but it does the job for me. and i usually like lots of bass...
  13. the thing i found was that the big bulky bit on the back of it wont pass thru the whole. there probably is a way to do it but i wasnt prepared to spend hours on finding out. twas easier just to break it out and fit a new one. it was broken anyway so doesnt really matter if i broke it some more!!
  14. i thought he meant the cigarette lighter not the gear surround panel!
  15. i done it on saturday. i had to break it. then i bought a new one off of ebay for a couple of quid!!
  16. or you can cut a wire in the loom to stop the light coming up. theres a thread about on here that tells you which wire to cut!
  17. you can get the sideskirts still from lexus. i think it was lexus poole. when i got a price before christmas they quoted me £243 plus vat
  18. yeah ive seen them. be honest i dont really want to spend lots more money on the car. looking to get rid of it at the end of the year. is it possible to just make brackets or wedges as such?
  19. ah just the man. tony. spoke to a guy at demon tweeks about the upper control arms. said they dont do them. but he asked if i could just space the control arm mounting points? could a bracket be made?
  20. wow they have gone up in price. i bought them a couple of years ago and they were half that price!! they were only available in left hand drive when i bought them so a bit gutted they do a rhd set now. lol be prepared to cut the inner wings to make them fit. they are for the is300. they do fit with a bit of modification tho!!
  21. took mine to wim and tony said i need some front upper adjustable control arms. does anyone have a link to where i can buy them? i can only find them in the us.
  22. whats do these do btw? connect from where to where?
  23. im a bit new to diesels too, but its a return pipe the recirculates exhaust gases into the inlet so as not to create as much emmisions. ive just bought a transit and i read about it on there. the transit guys all blank theres off!!its supposed to give a little bit more power due to not burning old exhaust gases!!
