hey guys. well i was very intrested in this as in the way he was selling it so cheap. emailed him and i got a long reply of how good the car is and it turns out the car is in spain (madrid). hes now got it on ebay with a buy it now price of £4200 including shipping back to uk. the email he sent just seems like he is an ebay con. this all seems very suspect to me. ive emailed the guy asking if i could fly over and collect the car in person and pay cash on collection. i will let you know what i get back. hers is what the email said Hello there, I know that you have many choices on eBay and I appreciate that you contacted me.Although I am registered in the UK, but I recently moved in Madrid,Spain (where my family is from) and the car is being shipped from here. yeah ive got a similar noise. its like a wheel bearing gone, but only does it sometimes on the odd occasion. i replaced the rear shocks and it still done it (didnt replace them cos of the noise, they were knackered) think i need to replace the fronts aswell so when i do il listen out for it.

with the bubbles they should come out after a few days. if not then get on his case. if i done a job and left bubbles then i would expect the customer to complain and id understand if they wanted it done again. i got some bubbles in mine but i done it myself and i cant be arsed to rip it off and do it again. got the grill from lexus, already painted for £35.36

scarface. where can u purchase these units ready made? i have a kenwood kvt m707 touchscreen headunit. would it just plug straight in and ready to go?

i tinted my own!!! give it a go. i know ive been in the sign industry for over 8 years it doesnt really make a difference. window tint is in a class of its own when it comes to applying. nothing like vinyl. all you need is a bit of soapy water, a knife and a squeegy. youl save urself lots of money doing it urself and you will get alot of satisfaction that u done it urself. if you need any tips give me a pm. heres mine just after i tinted it last weekend

nice one!! but if i was you i wouldnt mount the amp that way up. its liable to overheating and burning out. possibly a fire. happened to a friend of mine when he mounted his upside down. the heat isnt being dispersed thru the heat sink of the amp because the heat is rising rather than going down into the heat sink. bet your parcel shelf gets a bit warm!!!

do be so hard on the police! im sure they give 100% 15% on monday 25% on tuesday 30% on wednesday 20% on thursday 10% on friday totally agree. they should sort thereselves out. at the end of the day. does it really matter if someone has blue sidelight bulbs? im sure people dont actually believe its a police car!!!

yeah samsung are wicked. ive got a 42" plasma and the quality is amazing. only paid £900 from savastore. there not the best with lcd tho. bought a couple of 23" lcd's by samsung and there picture quality isnt as good as the 42"

cheers. sadly it didnt. it cost me £6100. i know its a grand more than i said but i guessed i had to up the money to have more of a choice of a better range of cars. definitely worth spending the extra. love it!!!!! hasnt got sat nav but its got the rest. im happy with it anyway. picking the first little mod up tommorow for it. a nice sports grill direct from lexus painted! also got a stereo fascia adapter sitting here so i can fit the tv head unit, and freeview. plus some clear rear fog lights in the post

well i got one. its a 2000 on an x. full service history. se without the sat nav. would of liked sat nav but it wasnt that important.

damn. im confused now.!! lol going to take the wheels off and have a closer inspection on saturday. dont really want to run it in the garage because they will only probably take my trousers down!!! damn cars. lol

hey. just got my lexus a couple of nights ago and when you put ur foot on the brake you get shuddering through the steering wheel and pedal. its worse at low speeds an rac friend of mine reckons it could be dirt behind the disc as its just had them replaced. does this seem about right. will get the wheels off soon to inspect but was just wondering what u guys thought? cheers neil

yeah id always pay cash. im picking my new lexus up on tuesday and taking £5900 in cash with me! i took it with me when i looked at the car. i wanted to drive away with it the night i went to look at it. but the guy didnt have the log book with him so i have to go back. taking cash just saves all the messing about and wasted journeys most of the time. they would have to prise it from my dead cold hand to get the cash off of me!!!

imo sextons in maidstone is utter crap. everybody i know who has had something fitted there, has had something wrong with the installation. i had my alarm fitted there on my mondeo and they didnt put a sensor on the drivers door. so u could open the door without the alarm going off. steer clear if you ask me!!

yeah it is a little similar reactions to my honda but its a lot more noticeable in the lexus. with the honda you have to keep it above 5500rpm to get the full potential, and that baby revs up to 8500rpm. its hard on a test drive to find out how it really goes because it just feels like your on your driving test. id kill someone if they raced my car when i was trying to sell it. im not really looking for speed out of it. just thought it felt really slow when pulling away.

yeah the golf did shift i must admit. was a bit of a boyracer car!! had the full stainless and chipped. was pushing over 200bhp. lowered and nice rims. not really my thing anymore. just want a nice comfortable cruising car. yeah i did mean the half leather. sorry. well ive been looking around the 99-2000 age of car. there around the 5000 sort of mark, just got to find the right one with the lowest milage. one will come along. i can be patient. looks like a nice one jock. but thats just out my price range. sorry mate. cheers for the warm welcome guys

hey been on a couple of test drives in 99/00 is200's and they seem to lack power when u put ur foot down. 1 was a navigator and the other was an s. ive got a honda del sol and this has a few bhp more than a lexus but it pulls away so much quicker and theres no holding back. do all is's feel like theres turbo lag or were these a couple of bad ones? cheers neil

hey. just thought id introduce myself. neil from kent. been looking for a couple of weeks now for an is200. only got about £5000 to spend so finding it hard to find a decent one. currently driving a corsa and have a honda civic crx on the drive waiting to be finished. sold my golf vr6 this week and just want to find a decent 200 to buy. been and looked at a couple but they want too much money for what they are. seems to be the case. its got to have the leather and must have full lexus history. thats pretty much my only requirement. plus it cant be green. anyways people. hope this forum is as informative as the other forums i frequent on!! cheers neil
