  1. Damn, in a way I was hoping it was me!!!!!
  2. Hi Guys, hope someone can help. I have a 1998 cd for my IS200 SatNav system. And I'm pretty sure I can't do a search for a destiantion via postcode (if I can ignore the rest and please tell me how!!) I have to do it via Town & Road name. Now is there a chance that an upto date cd will give me this option or does the cd update just update the map side of things?
  3. Hmm, I wonder if the led has gone or if it could be a fuse issue. Will check the user manual to see if it mentions anything when I get home.
  4. Ok, I know this is pretty meaningless but when stuff doesn't seem to work on my car (regardless of how small it is) it bugs me! I'm pretty sure the Seat belt warning light on my IS200 Sport doesn't work. Does anyone know the criteria required for this light to come on? Passenger in the car when it's in motion without using seatbelt? I'm not sure if it's an MOT requirement or not either so would like to make sure it's working even if it isn't.
  5. That's what I thought. Hercules must have done mine up then!
  6. Hi Guys, do any of you know how to remove the standard gearknob off of an IS200??
  7. Ok, cool. That's pretty much what I hoped. Cheers
  8. Ah ok, so it's only if you unlock them remotely and then don't access the car that it automatically unlocks. So if I remotely unlocked it, got in then got out and left the keys in the car I don't have to worry about it automatically locking?
  9. Hi guys, I notice with my IS200 Sport that after a while the car locks itself automatically. Can anyone advise how long the car waits before it does this and is it intelligent enought to know that if the keys are say on the seat that it wont lock itself and lock you out!!??!!
  10. Thanks for the replies guys. I guess it could be the traction control, and does feel better when it is turned off. Having the aircon on/off makes no difference. I'll just switch the TC off. More fun that way anyway!!!
  11. Hi guys, am new to the forum and to owning a Lexus! I've had my IS200 Sport for a couple of weeks now and I just can't seem to pull away from stop in 1st without the card juddering slightly. If I turn the traction control off it pulls away fine. I used to have a Calibra 4x4 Turbo, so maybe it's me giving too much throttle! :winky: I do have to raise the clutch peddle a fair bit before it bites. But that could be normal as the clutch on my old car was on it's way out. Just wondering if any of you guys experience the judder and if so do you just turn the TC off!!!!!!!!!!!!
