  1. Role Nightclub/Theme Bar DJ (or general tart :winky:)

What I do Play loud music for money (or is it play music loud for money ?)

Area Located London/Kent border, work mostly central London plus Reading.

Help to members ? help with all sorts of Music/Home Audio & I.C.E advice in general or more specific on IS200

  2. Just a few quick points...

    Firstly £7,200 12 months ago ? For a W reg ?

Secondly if there is a dodgy balljoint but he will sort before auction ends...... why even mention it ?

(and same goes for the centre caps too :whistling:)

Thirdly if he has had the car 12 months and still doesn't know how the freeview & reverse camera work,

or managed to get them working, how will he sort them out in the short time the auction has left to run ?

Some people really need to have a think before they post an auction, what a numpty

    EDIT***

    P.S

Forthly where are the 10" subs in the doors ?

Did anyone spot the Hellfrauds go faster gear knob ?

  3. So who is the club longest serving member that is still active?

August '06 for me, I would guess Steve (admin) & Monster Mat are the longest active members ?

Who the youngest and oldest members?

    69

How many Lexus have you owned ?

just 1 and I still love it

    Who posted the most threads?

65 I think I would guess the most is either Monster Mat or Barrie

I have over 10,000 profile views, I wonder why ????

Who been to the most LOC shows ?(main events only)

Gord, Barrie, Monster Mat, Aztec (in no particular order)

Who covered the most miles attending meets

Nurburgring trip for me was my furthest venture with LOC,

Aztec must have covered more than most of us going to meets in the last 2 years or so,

then Stav, Gord and pos myself.

Who makes this site work for you, member or mods ? only two allowed

    Aztecbandit & Gord

  4. Hi Malc, I would suggest a blind test is in order across several types of music :D

I would suggest the 128kbs tracks would have a more compressed soundstage, and lose some of the top end

clarity. Bass can also sound muddled and ill defined IMO. In a test in last months What Hi-Fi magazine, some

blind listening tests using readers as testers found people could tell the difference between 128kbs & 320kbs,

but less could tell the difference between 320kbs and some of the lossless formats (if at all).

My own personal preference is everything gets ripped & stored at 320kbs. Yes the file size is larger than 128/192/256kbs, but hard drives and personal Mp3 playes are down in price these days, so larger file storage space required

for the bigger file isn't the issue it once was. For the increase in file size to quality, it's a trade off well worth

making IMO. The difference on a good Mp3 capable Head Unit between 128kbs > CD is fairly obvious, 320kbs > CD

    is really minimal.

It all depends on your ears, listening to music is a very personal matter as no matter how logical bigger is better

may sound in theory, if you can't tell the difference in a blind listening test, then go for what suits you :)
