Happy to help fella :) I haven't heard of this flammable issue at all before about the Hammerite (I used Hammerite smooth on mine), does anyone have any evidence of a real life issue ?

It seems fairly well deserved from what I have experienced on the road TBH, & it doesn't seem to matter how old the car is either, but obviously there is a fair bit of generalisation with that opinion.

After that happening to my car I don't think I could even speak for a week, and I certainly would have been in floods of tears for days & days..... I hope you find a away to repair it or get a good payout so you can replace your car with a new pride & joy. Shame the sub isn't a Double Voice Coil. If double you could have run 2 bridged channel outputs through the 2 voice coils (depending on the ohms of each coil). Still a freebie is a freebie and if you don't like the way it performs, you haven't lost anything. BTW the Ski hatch unbolts and comes out as one complete piece once you have removed the rear seat upright. LINKY

Welcome Brycie, LINKY has all you need about what needs to be removed/replaced when gaining access to the rear 6x9's, that should help you :)

If the bulbs work when tested as Stevie suggests, it deffo sounds like no power to the bulb holder to me.

Are they from an RX300 ? The tyres look like big baloons to me rather than low profiles I would expect on the Sportcross. The profile seems pretty high, be aware they may give a fair bit when cornering.
