  1. Hello, I got my GS300 back from an electrical repair and the A/C would not blow out of either the face/feet vents even when the arrows point to it. I entered the diagnostic menu (Auto + Recirc when turning ignition on) and the errors 21,24,41,43,46 flashed continously. Then by chance I pressed the Auto button and the unit performed some sort of self-recalibration of its motors / position sensors! This cleared the 41,43,46 codes, but I still have the 21 and 24 codes. Does anybody know what these mean?
  2. Further update, The ignition fuse (15A) was blown at the drivers kick-panel, so it was replaced everything worked perfect but then it blew after a minute, replaced again and again varying from a few seconds to a minute. It only happens when the engine is ticking over, and does not blow when the ignition is on. Does anybody have a schematic as I am now looking at the ABS?traction control system. Any help appreciated!!!!!!
  3. HELP, I did post this in the engine/transmission subforum, but now I know it is not a engine/transmission problem. On my 98 GS300, my speedo just died, the steering is very heavy and I cant change out of P without using the over-ride. Also the brake & ABS lights are on, the elec windows are all dead and the cruise control works. (so its not a speed sensor) Does anybody have any ideas? Would it be a common fuse/relay blown ? Anybody have a schematic? Any ideas>?????? Thanks

  5. Hello, Check here http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/ind...82&hl=radio
  6. The fix is here: http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/ind...82&hl=radio
  7. The best and easiest fix is to order a new LCD display unit complete with the PCB and ribbon cable. This for a 98 GS300 European version (with RDS and TA). If you pull out the whole ashtray assembly, http://www.carstereohelp.com/stereoremovalLexusGS300Str.htm twist your neck under and look at the bottom of the radio, you should see the code KEX-8176ZT on the bottom of the radio. If this is the code you need to order from a Pioneer parts distributer code CWM4932. This is the complete glass/cable/PCB assembly. It cost me €105 delivered (Ireland) from http://www.avi.ie/ - 3 days delivery time This only takes 15 mins to replace, all you need is a 10mm socket (from tool kit in boot), a large and small philips screwdriver - nothing else. No soldering/wiring required! (If your radio is non-european and has the code KEX-8076ZT the part is CWM4931 - double check this before you order!) In the UK you can get this part from http://www.semenedis.com/
