remove them from the doors, strip them down (take out switches...a few screws) and paint them ;) not sure this is possible the plates in my car are slightly different to the later model plates. Mine have black plastic cups under the switches where as the newer ones are completely moulded. This forum doesnt allow image attachments so i can't explain it further.

Hi, I want a set of Silver switchplates for all 4 doors. Currently in my IS300 2001 they are woodgrain finish (HATE WOOD), i believe the 2004 models and above came with Silver. In the USA they are available http://store.my.is/store/product_image.php?imageid=193 However, these are for left hand drive cars, sadly the switches are different in our LHD cars in AUS/NZ. I've looked endlessly for JDM sources for parts in Japan...no such luck. Anyone got any other suggestions?
