  1. That would look pretty damn cool colour coded to your car in my opinion. I did mine rover charcoal... looks very dark in pics, its more of a nice anthracite in real life!
  2. With thanks to a few previous threads and the knowledge section of the site I gave this a go this evening, what a royal pain in the arse it is! Just finished one headlight and love how it looks. Started into one of the foglights and having terrible trouble getting it apart, thought it would be easier than the headlight for some reason! Heres a couple of pics, I know you have all seen it before but Im quite proud of myself for attempting some DIY!
  3. As said, personal choice really, I always thought there was something that didn't quite look right, where the grill on the tte bumper sits against the bonnet. Bit of a gap or something, but that photoshop further up the page looks pretty darn cool. I wanted one with the full TRD kit as it all just ties in nicely and personally think it looks more factory fitted.
  4. Got a kit a few weeks back for mine too, great job, don't know how long ive gone without them to be honest. Heres mine, 6000k.
  5. I don't think they offer discount. But yeah their workmanship is excellent, lot of good mechanics there. Personally mate id be taking it else where to have it fitted, probably at a fraction of the price.
  6. Depends how low you want it. But id say you might just get away with 10" rears with the right offset and minimal lowering, 8.5/9's on the front? Im sure some of the guys here have tried it and can confirm.
  7. As in disconnecting the Battery for 20 mins or so? Just incase it isnt, can you remember how much the sensor cost? Cheers
  8. Mine stangely started doing this all of a sudden this week. You could either remove the bulbs and blast a hot air gun in there for a bit (probably quickest). Or what I did was while I was waxing it today just left the headlights & main beams on the whole time which dried them up nicely. Harry
  9. After I fitted the TTE coilovers to my car ive noticed now when slowing down around 3-5mph the abs kicks in for about one second almost every time in any weather conditions. I had to remove the sensors in the front when fitting the shocks so thought id maybe damaged something. Took them out and cleaned them up today, then refitted and unfortunately the problem still persists. Anybody ever experienced this problem? Could they not be seated in securely or am I looking at a couple of new sensors? :( Thanks Harry
  10. Looks great, definatly liking that a lot! I find you have to be quite brutal with it on the track etc to get any sort of drifts. Just doesnt quite have the power, what I really need is a turbo! :( Would love to go arse about in a big open wet area like that you have pictured! Harry
  11. Interior as standard is gorgeous I think to be honest. Not really anything id change, except maybe a brand new standard gearknob, the woman who owned it before me must have worn a few rings as its scratched to bits in only 35k! I have a B&M Short shift kit, Alpine double din dvd player screen with a custom ipod slot down at the ashtray. Maybe after I sort the exhaust and wheels ill get a good set of components up front and a nice custom install for the boot... oh the list goes on! cheers for the kind words again chaps, ill keep you posted with its progress!
  12. Fook me, weird the way one spoiler is $79 and one $279, im guessing one of them must be genuine or something just? Thanks for the comments, such a difference a bit of lowering can do! Got a slightly better photoshop done to give me a better idea of how it will look with anthracite wheels, think ive made my mind up and ill get it done when the weather gets a little better!
  13. the cops have had a few double takes at the front plate but usually never bother doing anything about it, guess im just lucky so far. As for mot, I have a full sized front one to stick over the top. I got them from a company that specialises in plates in Belfast. However a few of my friends have been able to order them on the net, fancyplates.com or something?
  14. errr... pass on how low it is, lets just say its wound down pretty far :), if and when I do the anthracite wheels I might lower it a tad more. Thanks for all comments, im very pleased, yes I have the c west eyelids, they are off being painted properly, not sure if im sold on keeping them on the car yet. I actually photoshopped the eyelids on that pic with the wheels to see how it might look! Definatly considering spacers at the moment, possibly only slightly at the front and a good bit more at the rear. Next move is a Prolex Kazama, hopefully should be on next month sometime. And yep sorry, had custom plates made to fit the black plastic plinth at the front and one to fill the gap properly at the rear.
  15. Havent put any pics of my car up here really yet, heres a couple, lowered on TTE coilovers (cheers Fargo)last weekend, gave it a good clean yesterday and had a go at this arty farty stuff! Ive included a photoshop of an idea im toying with at the moment, cant really afford to splash out on a big set of 18s and my current wheels need refurbished pretty badly. So all comments and suggestions welcome. Heres the photoshopped one, its so good you could hardly tell Oh and one more thing, anybody ever fitted this spoiler or know where I could get my hands on one? Cheers very much!
  16. More pleasing to the eye and to the ear to be honest mate. Don't think you'll notice much of a performance gain. I didn't anyway!
  17. Total assholes mate, jealous bastards. This happened on one of my previous car and I felt the same, if I ever caught them id tear their heads off.
  18. and just stick a drop of that ontop of the 3 plastic prongs that come through the mesh? Never thought of that, suppose it would hold it alright. Is it handy enough to take the grill off to do this?
  19. My car came to me missing this badge, and Ive recently found out its a rather simple job to do. I've managed to get hold of the front badge from a friend though hes lost the black plastic clip that holds it onto the mesh. Anyone know if this can be ordered seperately from Lexus or even better if someone had one lieing around leftover? cheers very much Harry
  20. Yeah it should really in most circumstances, it was my own fault for not getting a number when we did the deal earlier. However, all sorted now and got chatting to him tonight. Thanks anyway Lee.
  21. ah... that could be the problem mate. Yes that would be excellent, hopefully he'll see this later otherwise ill give you a shout, thanks. Harry
  22. Hi all, would any of you chaps happen to have a contact number for Fargo, I cant seem to get hold of him. Its to do with purchasing some stuff from him off the forum. Basicly my gear hasnt arrived yet and I dont think hes getting my pm's as I havent heard from him in over a week now. Im sure its just something silly but if someone could kindly send me his number it would be much appreciated. Thanks Harry
  23. lol smart arse... No companies in the UK? Would just make life a little easier than worrying about customs charges etc from US. Cheers for the link anyway, least I have an option if I get desperate :)
  24. Can anyone tell me where I could purchase a set of these, (not the curvy trd style ones). Been searching here and on the net and im not having any joy! Thanks Harry
