Please help, I already bought a K&N cold air Intake typhoon 69 series. It didn`t come with the heat shield and I was wondering if this will affect horse power. Can someone tell me where can I get just the heat shield ? I don`t seem to find any. Thanks.

I bought a cd version from A - Z on E-bay. is a PDF format and works great and very helpfull. In fact this Cd is the one that dealers work on to fix teir cars.

You don`t have to get an sport`s grill try billet. I got my on ebay and averyone looks at my car. :winky:

Sounds like the motor maybe bad. Does it make weird noises as you open the sunroof. If it does than for sure is bad. you can try to adjust the aligment to see if maybe it will get in place. you will need to get to the motor wich is located in the front right where the map light is removee all that and you will see the motor and ones you do make sure to close it all the way and you will see a marking dot (point Mark). if you remove it must be at the point mark or else you will be in trouble cause the sunroof will not operate properlly. Ones remove inspect the motor. but before you will deside to do it yourselve make sure to inspect the mechanical parts of the sunroof first. It may be a hard work if you don`t know what you are doing.

Hi everyone I`ll try to be specific. On my Is 300 Five speed I have noticed when I go at high speed over 85+, specially wheb I go down hill. My car feels like it stumbles, It doesn`t do this all the time only ones or when I reduce speed and when the gas peddal is off. I don`t have the cruise control set nor my car does not have brake assist equiped either, Th eonly this that has equiped are Traction control and ABS. But it feels like brake assist or when the car has the cruise control set but only takes a second to do it and the weird part is the car doesn`t slow down. In other words I don`t think the car stalls either because it only happens on high speed that is what I experience, it`s like some sensor or somewhat that does that. Can someone tell me if that happend to anyone. Or is this normal

Yes it does when I open any door, but not when the trunk is open, I assume the light maybe burned out cause I checked the connections and is all fine. I even tried to take off the trunk key assembly and re install it and still doesn`t show that is open while it is. everything else works but the light.

that sounds good, I'm sure you got yourself a lovely car - to me, it was more about the 2 yr warranty coverage, and what else... .... yeah, the car looked just amazing :P and I felt in love right away !! :heart: What I`ve been told is that as the car gets older the engine becomes loose so maybe you need to change the oil viscosity to heavier weight perhaphs 10w40. Or you will probably need to adjust the valve clearance, specially if your car makes less miles per gallon. When your car makes this noises at star/up it should be normal cause oil needs to reach the top for lube, and it should go away. also maybe think about the fuel pump also makes similar noise. If I missundertood you please forget what I just said. hp ethis will be some help for you.

Hi everyone. Can someone tell me when opening the trunk, does the car lets you know in the cluster pannel if it is open just like when you open any door. I was wondering cause my doent advise me.

Thanks I also I agree it is damage. But how do I make the dealer make the rapair cause they think what they hear is nomal. My car is still on waranty and I want to make that problem solve.

Hello... I would like to say that a similar problem happend to me, and I found out that the place I took it had their tire ballancer machine unadjusted because I took it to another place and they recheked my tires and they were off and I even got my money back from the spects from the other shop. Try it never know.

Hi everyone. This is my very first topic and I`m glad to be in this Club as well as share comments with you all. My Is 300 only has 25K, apparently my suspension still makes a wierd sound on my left front strut, but only when I go on speed bumps and when I drive trough some bumps and holes like any ordinary road. It sounds when the piston from the strut is damage again. I made some research about Lexus suspension been squeaky but that is what I don`t hear. I had my first strut changed before by the Dealer but they say that it is normal on the second strut as I explain before about the normal squeak sound, but I insisted is not so they won`t make no repairs. Can anyone please tell me what I should do in this case?.
