I took my 250 sport in to be derattled (again) and the loan 250 they gave me rattles just as much! Don't get me wrong I love the car but just wish it would stop rattling!

Mine was £188 at Lex Manchester - no LOC discount as my mebership expired! Have damaged my o/s exhaust box and advised needs replacing at nearly £500 which seems a bit steep though - anyone disagree/agree? That is steep...try a specialist Any sugestions?

My IS250 SE-L was one year old last Saturday. It has about 7,500 on the clock, most of which has been local, urban and rural motoring. The overall average for that year, based upon actual written records of all petrol in and all miles done, is pretty much precisely 30 m.p.g. On the occasional long motorway journey with cruise set at 70 m.p.h I get indicated tank averages of up to 44 m.p.g. but the computer is always optimistic and the real figures based upon petrol in and miles done were more like 39 m.p.g. Still pretty good IMHO. Please forgive a stupid question, but where on the IS250 can I find the MPG figure? (model is250 sport multimedia). On a mix of urban/mway driving I am estimating 30mgp average but that's a crude guess based on filling the tank/remembering the mileage! Should come up on the trip computer. The button is one the right hand side of the steering wheel (if it's the same as mine!!!!)

I never get more than 32 mpg - it must be my driving!!! Off to Bournemouth with work tomorrow and will get 5k on the clock - what about you?

I would say about the same. I have 3k on the clock; mixture of motorway and town. I get up to 28 on a good day........

I have a IS250 Sport and absolutley love it. Would have liked the auto, but hey. I went for the black which looks great but is an absolute b*tch to keep clean. Have a drive from Sussex to Suffolk this evening and looking forward to it already. Not finding the fuel econmy too bad for a V6!

Only managed the one photo so far - thought I'd better do it while the car still looked new. Four hou drive back from Milton Keynes soon sorted that!!!!! Had a big smile on my face all the way home despite the traffic on the M1/M25!!!!

Black - shame not to get metallic but I really wanted it in black.

So excited, my 3 month wait is nearly at an end. The ship has docked with my lovely new IS250 Sport on board. Will be sure to post some pics as soon as it arrives.

I shopped around loads for my insurance and ended up with A Plan. Got £540 fully comp for my brand new IS250 Sport. I'm 26 with 3 years NCD so very happy. Excess is only £300 as well. Obviously the cost is great but felt as though I got great advice and customer service as well.

Am waiting for my 250 Sport to arrvie - so impatient! I have seen a couple of topics about protective film which can be proffessionally fitted to protect the bonnet etc. from stone chips. Does anyone have any idea if this is any good and also how much it costs? Thanks, Andy

Anyone got any thoughts on colour for the Is250. I have a Sport on order in black but am starting to get cold feet about whether it will mark. Have been told I can change the colour but will have to wait another 3 months
