Thanks for that :) from what I can find out, theres a lead for GS 1993 - 1998 mk1 and another lead for 2000 - 2005 with a big gap in the middle where my car sits lol. Good luck with the lead

I've been looking at the IO play adapter for bluetooth handsfree and audio playback from my iphone. seems like a decent bit of kit, I've tried to find a cable that will let me plug it into my GS300 mark 2 1999 with satnav. the best match I can find suggests a SOT 913 ISO converter cable which some websites say lexus upto 2005 and some say will not work with amplified systems. Does anyone know if this lead or any other lead is the correct one for my car? Many Thanks

eps 1 and 2 were amazing of this season, confusing as hell though, I've watched them both twice now and picked up on all sorts of things, Here's hoping that they keep it up this season :) shame Prison Break has been axed tho :(

I had a similar problem as yourself with my GS300 Sport, turned out that although the battery seemed fine it wasnt and a new one sorted it all out. Im not sure what you mean by "the rear offside door actuator needs replacing" though?

Later this month the pay as you go iphone comes out, it's £350.00 for the 8 gig version and £400.00 for the 16 gig one, they both come with a years free 3g unlimited browsing and public wifi cloud access. but you have to use the supplied O2 sim card to get that.

Its something to do with how ziphone mods the baseband to allow any sim, it cannot be undone aparently its all very long winded more here tho web link

I have an older Iphone, I wouldnt use Ziphone as it's said to change things that cannot be reverted, there's a whole load of hoo har about the guy that made ziphone and just about everyone else, anyway for now the only way to use a 3g iphone on a different network is to buy one of the hardware sim changers, these fake your orange sim to look like an o2 one to your iphone, im sure this wont take much longer until it can be broken by software alone. I use this site for the latest software news etc iphonefreakz

Well I had a test drive of a manual one. I havent driven a manual car in over 6 years, but it's like riding a bike you dont forget... anyway i liked the car, drives like a gokart, but then they offered me 2 grand for my car!!! so I left it at that :( -

I've arranged a test drive for this afternoon. yeah its a massive change, but i did go from a pug 306 dturbo to an is200 so im used to the big jumps :) -
With the credit crunch in full spring I've been looking to get a cheaper to run car. and an MR-2 has caught my eye. It's a 2002 in silver with a hard top and a sequential gear box. Has anyone here owned one? it's a very tiny car compared to the GS300 and I can't drive the manual one as my feet are too big for the pedal's... I guess im at that age where i want a sporty 2 seater, I cant afford a poor mans porsche and i havent looked at an MX5 or Honda 2000 yet. Are the sequential models quite rare? looking around for them not many show up.

My 1999 GS 300 has just passed it's MOT today, I have the creaking sound when parking up. I guess the balljoints were not bad enough to fail. After seeing that Im thinking I should have them changed asap. Last year I had the MOT done the car failed on a ball joint and Lexus robbed me of £400.00 to have the upper ones done, Ive done some searching and you can get blueprint upper and lower ball joint parts for around £50.00 per joint.

i have one of the 2g iphones. once unlocked its an awesome bit of kit, the cameras disapointing but the screen and the UI are simply stunning, really looking forward to the new one, as soon as they crack it wide open.

yeah I still have the GS nice car, but driving 40 miles a day is costing me a fortune in rising fuel costs :(good to hear from you anyway :) and now your a bus driver too, why oh why wasnt it a Toyota?? j/k.
