If it was Raid 0 then you have no fault tolerance, just what looked like one big drive, the problem is data is split across both drives so any failure and its all dead. Raid 1 will give you some fault tolerance and you could just replace the drive and it should rebuild. if it was 0 then you'll have to start again. If you decide to go the one disc route and then a backup I recommend acronis true image. very very good software.

could be down to your power supply, the 8600 GT and above needs a certain watt psu to work might be worth looking in to

It sounds very much like your PC needs a new gfx card call of duty 4 is a very nice game and as such needs a beefy graphics processor to run it. you can spend a small fortune on them. but I would recommend an Nvidia 8800 GT about £130 its easy to fit yourself but it does require your computers power supply to be good enough for it more info on Nvidia's website www.nvidia.com

if its like the one in mine, pull up the false floor in the boot, undo the 2 clasps at the ends and you can lift up the unit. then you can get to the eject button and take out the disc.

can you cut a hole in the bottom and afix a false bottom that the stand can sit on, might give you the extra couple of inches your looking for.

Find a game with the update on, Anything that comes out in the next few months thats been published by microsoft game studios. Take it somewhere where they have internet access to update it. if you want it to be able to play divx It will have to be done online as theres a 2nd update to allow divx thats locked to the user account, this can only be activated via xbox live, so if the box is "banned" then you might be outta luck.

Hello Jim I have a satnav in mine but I doubt the standard radio will have standard ISO connectors either. you might be able to get a converter cable like the one thats made for the IS series or you may have to rewire the whole thing.

It might depend on the amount of time, I had to take mine out and take it back to Halfords for an exchange. so it was out for about 30 mins or so.

As in the topic, Ive had to change my battery in my 99 mk2 GS300, I had to do this before but I cannot remember what needed to be done. I found a post by Maneesh that said to put key and turn one click and leave for 6 mins then remove key and that should do it. but Ive tried that twice now and it's not working. Is there any other method or some other step? I remember having to do something like this last time I changed the battery but I cannot remember what lol thanks and merry xmas to all :)

I can really sympathise with you, I few months back I had the most horrific tooth ache, and I didnt have a dentist, I was awake for almost 72 hours with constant pain, I went to see an emergency dentist who put in a temp filling and told me I need to see a dentist !!!, I booked myself into the dental hospital who took an xray, said the tooth needs either a root canal or extracting so I said take the bugger out, they said sure, come back in a month and we will take it out !!!, I even went to see my GP as the pain was so intense, I tried all methods I could think of, Clove oil, ibuprofen pain killers, gels you numb your gums with, nothing touched the pain as it was the nerve in the tooth being attacked by bacteria, eventually I found something that worked. Sliced cucumber cold from the fridge, pushed onto the gum seemed to work for about 15 mins then I had to change to another cold bit, and I found icy cold water to do the trick too, only problem with the water was I had to keep getting a mouth full of water to numb the inside of my mouth then spit it out and get more every 5 mins or so, no sleep, but also no pain. eventually the nerve died and there was no pain but it took about a week. Never again !!

It's ps3 only chaps and yup its true its in the game in fact it's in the Demo that you can download from the Japanese ps3 shop just create a japanese account and download it now like I have on mine. The game is stunning, I prefer it to forza 2 on 360.

You could fit the later version genuine lexus rear lights they look better than the old ones, and just one wire needs changing. I think I saw some LED ones somewhere on here too. other than that not much to choose from with GS300 rear lights.

Until the laser packed in, which is a very common problem with Playstations. My original Jap ps has the phono outputs and S-Video output sockets on the back. I was never really that impressed with the sound quality of audio cd's tho.

for all you downloading nuts, season 2 of Heroes starts tonight in the US and of course episode 2 of season 3 of Prision break. Last night also saw new seasons of Simpsons and Family Guy. Jericho starts up again soon as does futurama in nov :) some good TV at last

Love the series seen both seasons and the first 17 mins of the 3rd season. Some of the US sites are running the preview. Excellent, cant wait till the 17th :)

I've just started watching season 4 of 24, there's a nice blue GS 400 in that, Jacks just been stopped using it by a police road block.
