If you follow the book is 33,but I have 36 all in a country with only few rain.Test it yourself and you will be rewarded with extra miles by the hybrid. I must say though I have "softer" tires than the Bridgestones,Contis. Regarding the noise,see previous posts and sorry to say there is only temporarily therapy,you better get used to it.

If you read the thread you'll see the issue isn't about the hybrid battery going flat if the car isn't used for a few days; it's about how far you can get on hybrid power alone and whether there is actually any saving on fuel economy over an oil burner. Apologies,wanted to post in other thread and posted here! P.S Why don't you slightly increase tyres pressure,to see how much MPG more you get?

I am tired of those who complain about the aux. battery going flat after 4-5 years,writing articles and posts and not investing in a new battery. All car batteries go dead,not only Lexus!New members,should read older posts.There answers for all possible questions.

I had my RX400H parked and locked outside my office,with windows and roof closed,alarm armed. Suddenly I heard the alarm ringing,and saw all windows and moonroof open! The alarm was still on,and had to disarm it to close again the windows. Has anybody had similar experience,and might be the reason of this strange happening?

Yes,this happened to me too,twice! Consumption is higher during winter especially when it is very cold.(Have you checked tires pressure anyway,if less it usually adds up a lot). Problem was solved with the annual service,the consumption felt down.9,5-10 lts before 8,5-9 after the service.

Today I have changed my Bridgestone Potenzas to Conti UHP, after 42000 tough kms in Greece and Italy. The rear ones were in perfect condition,have switched them only once. So I suggest Potenza for both performance and durability.

And I was thinking it was my sun membranes that caused the problem! I could not imagine,how stupid the makers could be....

I didn't receive any letter from Lexus Greece,and on top of that have been for 3 year's service today,and confirmed that I was included and asked me to fix it in another appointment! That means lost working hours. There is no customer's "service" left in Greece I am afraid.

Overall the ugliest RX ever! Stick to the current,and wait for the next generation RX in 2012 (?)!

RX400 made in Japan,are far better made than the Canadian ones. I have one Japanese 2006,and tested some imported from US lately. The Canadian are "toys",building quality and overall feeling much worse.

No Jon, I have a 02/06 RX,drive in the South (Greece), no such problems so far!

I called them and got them via courrier....4 DVDS plus a small booklet.....I will get the part numbers down and send them ASAP! I am 90% sure you will not be able to do it online....there are 4 double layer DVDs....by the way they are locked so I sure Lexus wont let you download them:)) I want to download any updates from now on,not the 4 double layer DVDs. This is because the maps are not full yet,still the biggest part of Greece is out. Thanks again.

Thanks Argy for the info.Did you call Lexus yourself,or they called you?Anyway it is important to know if one can upgrade the maps etc.,through internet.
