  1. Hindsight is a wonderful thing :D I never chuck anything out these days from the Aristo, you should see my garage, chock full of bits from my single conversion :D
  2. The twin turbo supra engine, the 2JZ-GTE, was first used in the JZS147 Aristo (MK1 GS300) so yes you would be able to do a transplant. I'm not sure what gearbox the GS300 has in it but the Aristo has a A340E, they all use the same model number MK3 Supra, MK4 Supra, GS, Aristo, Soarer (I think) and more I imagine. But are slightly different depending on what engine they are bolted to, think the splines are different.
  3. ARS Canceller is definately worth a look from reading other threads about it, have a look at this one for instance http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/ind...showtopic=40373
  4. That's a great quote right there :D
  5. They're Hiro tinted light covers so pop off easy enough, must have forgotten to take them off after the last show I attended officer :D That's the target output figure to restrict it to even though the turbo is capable of much more. The pipes do give it away a little :D
  6. lol Yeah, it's going to be a lag monster, but having the manual 6 speed should help me keep it up in the right zone :D
  7. Cheers for the comments guys :D I have posted it up on the MKIV site previously, I should have more of an update in a week or so's time as more bits will be going on, custom propshaft to mate up the 6 speed Getrag being a big milestone and I should have finished paintng up a shed load of engine parts too to make things all nice and tidy tidy under the bonnet :D
  8. Well my T51 6 Speed Conversion is coming on leaps and bounds, here's a little taster of what it's looking like currently :D All work being done by http://inlineautomotive.co.uk :D For more details and pictures you can see them at http://clubaristo.net/forums/showthread.php?t=15744 Enjoy :D
  9. As above, you should be able to fit a steering wheel from one of the other models, for example, one of the CA members fitted a MK1 Aristo with an MR2 steering wheel, including wiring up the airbag, the only thing missing if I remember rightly was the cruise control lever.
  10. How could you forget the little MPH sticker to cover the KPH on the facia ;)
  11. Where did you get the stereo surround with gauge pods??
  12. Hahahaah - funniest thread ever. Almost £800 for some stick on grill bits LMFAO!!! And there was me thinking that these stick on grill kits on eBay were overpriced.... Stick on grill kits on eBay One born everyday I suppose!

    Wheels....

I had this same problem on my old Impreza, it ended up being one of the tyres being slightly fubar which was causing the problem. Worth checking I suppose, I spent ages getting the wheels balanced then checked over again and again only for it to be one of the tyres being slightly warped.
